7/6/25 - I've lived in Central NJ since 2002. I must have driven by Maria's Pizza and Subs in Milltown, NJ a few hundred times but never stopped. Until today. We got a large pepperoni and a large spinach artichoke. I heard that the pizza there was super thin and crispy. This was not my experience. Our pies although on the thinner side definitely have more substantial dough than other thin crust pizzas I've sampled. I've learned that dining in is the way to go from a deliciousness factor. But this place is so tiny inside so I opted for take out. The pies are reasonably priced and they are delicious. There's ample parking in the back. Friendly staff. Fast service. And the family loved em. I'll be back. Overall Rating: B+

The food is always delicious 😋 I highly recommend the chicken Parm Stromboli. It’s out of this world.
Pizza was absolutely godly. The vodka sauce pizza was also one of my favorites, cannot go wrong here!

Maria's Pizza & Subs in #Milltown, #NJ advertises a #NewarkStyle #ItalianHotDog stuffed into their own homemade #PizzaBread. While I would say it's more #inspired by the Newark style than a faithful recreation, it was pretty tasty nonetheless! FYI, just in case the photo doesn't do the plate justice, the fries on the side are not the same as the potatoes on top of the hot dog. #INeverSausageaHotDog

Pizza so good and the cannoli is outstanding! We got the eggplant pizza, which is really refreshing, and the grandpa pizza, which the vodka sauce doesn't disappoint. They told us about the cannoli plate and we thought it looks pretty decent so we got them. It blew our mind. 100% recommend it!! (The picture is taken after we all tried it and decided it's good enough to leave a review to recommend it ❤️)

My daughter is vegeterian she doesn't eat meat she also doesn't like pizza so we get her a sub but every single time we either get a chess stake or a meat sub today we got a meat sub we called and the person on the phone lied to us saying if you look on the order it says meat sub but I clearly says provolone lettuce tomato pickle and extra mayo (NO MEAT) just like that I am very disappointed
