7/6/25 - I've lived in Central NJ since 2002. I must have driven by Maria's Pizza and Subs in Milltown, NJ a few hundred times but never stopped. Until today.\n\nWe got a large pepperoni and a large spinach artichoke.\n\nI heard that the pizza there was super thin and crispy. This was not my experience. Maria's Pizza & Subs in #Milltown, #NJ advertises a #NewarkStyle #ItalianHotDog stuffed into their own homemade #PizzaBread. While I would say it's more #inspired by the Newark style than a faithful recreation, it was pretty tasty nonetheless! FYI, just in case the photo doesn't do the plate justice, the fries on the side are not the same as the potatoes on top of the hot dog. #INeverSausageaHotDog

Pizza so good and the cannoli is outstanding! We got the eggplant pizza, which is really refreshing, and the grandpa pizza, which the vodka sauce doesn't disappoint. They told us about the cannoli plate and we thought it looks pretty decent so we got them. It blew our mind. 100% recommend it!! (The picture is taken after we all tried it and decided it's good enough to leave a review to recommend it ❤️)
