Awesome food! Best French onion soup I've had in a long time. My waitress was so helpful and made sure we were taken care of. A little pricey, but worth the quality and the portion size.

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Miner’s Apron! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm and friendly, which set the tone for the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding, truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The French onion soup was out of this world delicious, the grilled chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, and the hanger steak was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the apple crumb cake with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending.
This restaurant is such a hidden gem, you can really feel the pride and care that goes into every detail. Huge congratulations to the owner Vincent on creating such a wonderful establishment.
I’m so happy to have found this spot and can’t wait to come back!

I’m literally writing this review while still eating because everything is that good. We ordered the cornbread, grilled wings, roasted broccoli, and the open-face roast beef sandwich, and every single bite has been amazing.
It’s rare to find food that tastes genuinely homemade, with both flavor and quality shining through in every dish. The cornbread is perfectly balanced, the wings have incredible char and seasoning, the broccoli is roasted just right, and the roast beef sandwich is pure comfort food done at a level you don’t often find.
Miner’s Apron is truly a gem. Flavorful, high-quality, and clearly made with care. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Edit: since I wrote that while I was still eating, I didn’t get to mention the dessert. We got the chocolate ice cream AND the chocolate raspberry gelato. It was out of this world!!! 10/10 meal.
Once you go once it becomes a regular thing. I had literally the best steak and the best pork chop I ever had in my life here. The chef knows how to cook meat perfectly.

This was our first visit and it was pleasant. The food and drinks were very good. The staff was very friendly. It was fairly quiet when we got there for a Saturday night and the start of the service was very slow but it ended great. My biggest criticism: the dining chairs. They are metal, very uncomfortable, slippery, and a normal size bum cannot fit comfortably in the chairs whatsoever. I would suggest maybe swapping them out for something a bit more comfy.

Food was lackluster and left so much to be desired. A basic copy cat menu of the local restaurants. Let’s just jump straight to the Jack Ciaterelli election sign. They can’t be serious. I won’t be entertaining this restaurant ever again.

Was looking for a new local place and pleasantly surprised when we stopped here. Food was fantastic!! Service was excellent. Vinny and his staff were so friendly. Love this little slice of heaven. Highly recommend.
Yesterday I asked my local Mom’s group for recommendations on where my friend and I could go for dinner. A lot of you recommended The Miner’s Apron in Mine Hill. We ended up going there and now I see why so many people recommended. The place and experience was so great. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess. The place is very cozy and comfortable. The owner Vincent came by our table to check on us not once but twice and so personable. He was telling us how the reason why they don’t have as big of a menu as other restaurants was bc he likes to make a lot of things from scratch and loves to utilize produce that’s in season. I got the wild salmon over escarole and butter beans and my friend got Mexican street corn with her homemade tortellini which she said was one of the best dishes she’s ever had! This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be going back very soon! Thank you again for the awesome recommendation! 👍😊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ tempted to return daily for as long as the spicy street corn tortellini is available!
Visited for my first time on Saturday. Was in a party of 8. The table setting was supposedly rustic but I would call it cheap. The seating was very crowded. The noise level during our entire meal was mind numbing, you could hardly hear yourself think. I had to remove myself from the building to get some relief. Conversation within the group was impossible. The waiter insisted on talking from one end of our seating which made it impossible to recognize anything he said at the other end. He gave us a verbal listing of the specials, more than half of which we couldn't hear and had to ask several times for repeating. At NO time were prices of the specials (and desserts) ever mentioned. After looking over the menu I realized that the current prices were 20+% higher than those on the website menu. I chose to go with the Hanger Steak and was told that they were out of that item. I subsequently ordered a rare burger. My S.O. ordered the Risotto with Scallops. To their credit the burger was cooked appropriately but I did not enjoy the flavor of the beef and only ate about 1/3 of my dinner. My S.O. commented that her scallops were charred, not to her liking. The number of scallops were not commensurate with the cost of the dinner. Considering all the negatives I can only say they will never see us again.
