amazing dining experience at abbiocco. The menu is well blended and very western. The ambiance is super luxurious and the prices are fair.My service lady Luisa, was top-notch. She helped me choose some great choices and drinks and was attentive the entire time. The rest of the staff was also very professional, I noticed. In summary, great food, excellent service and a real Colombian vibe. This is a must-visit, and I will return for sure to try out different tastes of the menu.

We dined here in the winter, came back for mother's day , it was awful. They brought bread and forgot oil or butter, 2 pepper shakers on the table and missing the salt. Air conditioning and fans were on, everyone complained it was very cold, expensive entrees were not-only worth the price. I had Linguini with clams, the pasta (linguini) was served in a lump all stuck together, way overcooked, tasteless , was kept in water too long, just not what you expect if you are paying a lot of money, clams were not cleaned well, after my second bite, I sent the dish back. The clams were full of sand and I had sand allover my mouth, cheese was also on top of the big lump , never serve seafood with grated parmesan. You would think that someone would come and ask us why we sent the dish back, no-one came. My husband had the short rib, all fat. For that price they should had made a HUGE piece. I do not recommend this restaurant, not worth their prices

Not the greatest. 3 of our meals were fine, the 4th was inedible (restaurant did take it off the check). Service was slow and insincere. Appetizers were good. Very pricey for the quality and service.

Unfortunately, I've eaten here before, and my food was fine. We went with a party of 9 to celebrate Mother's Day, and somehow our ticket was lost in the kitchen We sat over two hours, waiting for food and there were many errors in the preparation. I certainly don't fault our server. They were busy, but this is no excuse especially since it was the official day of the new owners taking over -hopefully they'll do better in the future -they have a beautiful location on the water in Monmouth Beach

The location is amazing, overlooking the Marina and a beautiful sunset. The place has a nice rustic look. We went with two other couples. Appetizers were good and tasty but when we ordered the entrée , all went down hill. Two entrees were very cold. I ordered the risotto w fish and shrimp, I told the waiter I don't want the other seafood in it, the risotto came w seafood. I had to wait for a new order. It looks like they were short stuff. Our waiter was also helping other waiters. He was running all over the place and kind of forgot about us. He kept apologizing. Then for dessert we only wanted espresso , to find out their espresso machine wasn't working. The waiter didn't even know that. It seemed like he wasn't knowledgeable and aware of what was going on. We were very disappointed! It's a shame, but we won't go back

This is literally the worst. It looks so awful inside, it smells bad, they changed nothing and the food was terrible really really terrible.

Abbiocco was a great find! We were nervous at first because the restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night. As it turns out, there are new owners and the restaurant will go under a transformation after Mothers Day. This made it seem like the restaurant was not open.....lucky for us! Everything we ordered was delicious, the. presentation and portions were generous and the service was attentive but not rushed. I look forward to visiting again.

Visited right during the transition to the new ownership. Food was top-notch, and they have a great wine selection. Service and the view were amazing.

Amazing food, great service and beautiful ambiance. Dinner was delicious. My husband and I, along with another couple, dined that evening and we all enjoyed our meal. This is a wonderful place for dinner if on a date, with family, as well as a with group of friends. Reservations are definitely suggested. We look forward to our next dinner here. Highly recommend!

The branding of this restaurant is a bit confusing as new owners transition it. But the current menu remains all Abiocco and delicious to the last drop of sauce. Our table had the scallops, short ribs, gnocchi and pasta bolognase...all cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the eggplant chips as an app. Hoping future plans for this place will hopefully maintain a lot of the current menu, because we have yet to have a bad meal here. And you can't beat a good meal by the water.

Absolutely egregious. 1. Was seated at a table with a leaking roof above it. One of our guests sits down in a puddle of water on the chair. No apology, and in fact seemed annoyed when we asked for a different table. Five minutes after we are seated elsewhere, they seat an elderly couple at the table with the leaking roof. And... the restaurant was mostly empty - plenty of other seating! 2. High end restaurant with hostess and servers dressed in faded jeans - on New Years Eve! Not appropriate! 3. Placed orders from the specials menu and were served something completely different. When addressed, was told they don't make that special anymore. 4. Ordered Fritto Misto for appetizer, but they forgot to include the shrimp. When it was addressed, instead of replacing with new order, server brought out a cup of tiny shrimp and dumped it onto plate. 5. I personally had the Bucatini Carbonara. It was essentially a bowl of fatty pancetta. To put some perspective around this review...it was New Years Eve, and the bill for 4 people was almost $600 ( 5 drinks). This is not a cheap establishment.

The only drawback to the evening... it was so cold in the restaurant! I know it was a bitter cold night Christmas Eve...but it was cold inside! We had to ask to be moved near a heating vent to be somewhat warmer... the rest rooms had no heat!
