This place was recommended for atmosphere and view but you stare at a loading dock. The service was well below average. They forgot to put in our meal and admitted it. They gave us a free round which was nice but it was a warm beer and a martini that had absolutely NO alcohol. The food was cold and below average. The only decent thing was their buratta with fresh tomatoes.

Great setting, outdoor on the water. Sat us right by the beginning of the outdoor tables, which were hot and a lot of people traffic. I asked to be seated toward the end of the dock. It was nearly completely empty there bur was told they were reserved. Their website clearly states outdoor seating is not reserved and is first come first served. Waiter was not super friendly or attentive, he was talking to other tables frequently where he seemed to know the guests

We were told we couldn't just put our drinks and appetizers order in we need to give our entire order at one time but no rush in deciding the rest of our order?! Way to start off the dining experience. The food was ok nothing to rave about. The busboys and hostess were great.

I've been to beach Tavern a few times and always enjoy most things on their menu. They are typically consistent and I especially enjoy their seafood entrées for this visit. My guest had the salmon served with bok choy and a miso ginger glaze which she fully enjoyed. I ordered the halibut with seafood rice and both were excellent. The server was very accommodating and his timing was great returning to the table fairly regularly without disturbing us, we split a Caesar salad due to the large size and it also was excellent. My only complaint for this visit was that we were seated in a room with three large tables of 10 and I believe they were celebrating something so the noise level was over the top. I've always sat in the room near the bar, which has always been excellent and has great views of the marina.

Unfortunately for the second time, they accepted the reservation even though the kitchen was closed. It should be indicated that only the bar is open and that the kitchen is closed at 9pm.

Second time at beach tavern. Great marina views. I had the salmon which was very tasty but would have loved a whole piece instead of half. Shrimp cocktail was delicious. Halibut was outstanding.
We went for a very early dinner on a Sunday. It was too noisy where we were initially seated (we are in our 70's) so the hostess cheerfully reseated us. The server Sergio was very experienced and expedient. Meal was burgers and fried seafood. Dessert was tiramisu. I will return.

Terrible experience. We'll never go there again. Made a reservation a week before. Never told that they don't take reservations for outside tables. Though there were several empty tables outside we were told to go inside. The outside hostess was rude. The service was awful. The server was so in the weeds she was running around like she didn't know where she was. Ordered drinks, they came 30 minutes later. My sister arrived a few minutes later and we had to look around for the server so she could order a drink. That took another 15 minutes to arrive. When we were ready to order the server kept saying “I'll be right back “. We were finally able to get her attention. The food took forever to arrive and two of the four orders were wrong. I sent mine back but my sister just ate hers because she didn't want to wait. The food was terrible. Several mussels were unopened. Burgers were overdone. A totally awful experience that cost $270.00. We're year-round locals. I'll be sure to tell anyone I know to stay away.
