This business is no longer here. Stopped in last night 6/2/22, after looking for MJ's to find another name on the building, GAIA. Inside, I learned that as of the previous week the restaurant had changed ownership. They had some pizza available but were still gearing up to serve a full menu with a very nice dining room starting in a couple of weeks. Looks like a good place to try when it opens before it becomes too popular and busy. Not sure how Yelp can update their listing that this business has changed.

One day it's OK, the next day it's terrible. Some employees are beyond polite and helpful, while others treat you like an annoyance. There's half-dozen similar pizza joints but with consistently good service and food within a 5 mile radius.... so it's kind of pointless to even bother with this place.

11 calls to place a takeout order at 8:15 on a Thursday, during football season no less.After giving up I decided to go and order in person. Business hours say 9PM on a Thursday so I figured walking in at 8:25 wouldn’t be a problem.Lights off, doors locked, not a soul in sight -_-Hey MJ’s, your food is actually decent. Try staying open so during normal business hours so people can actually order it.

One star not because they have bad food. It’s decent. But a few weeks back I ordered (2) gluten free pizzas off Door Dash from MJs Monmouth beach for (2) people w/ celiac. We got regular pizzas NOT GF which looked very good. I tried to address the issue and the fact that I waited over an hour for the pizzas that came wrong. Had to order else where. No one ever got back to me or fixed the issue. Disappointing and a waste of $40 bucks including door dash fees + delivery.

Food wasn’t ready when we arrived. Wings were dry and waaaay over fried.The Buffalo chicken dip was watery and inedible.Kids burger was hard and dry.Cheesesteak egg rolls were okay.Very disappointedI reached out to the location and was offered a full refund or gift card for the amount we paid.Thank you for the good customer service.

We came home after a day boating on the river and thought about take-out. I suggested Mj's since it was close. We ordered, picked up and it was ready surprisingly, and proved to be really good. No one had any complaints and we all had something different. They were very pleasant to deal with also. Will definitely go again.
