Between the genuine kindness and the superior quality of the ingredients in this pizza? This Pizzeria embarrasses most of the pizzeria within 100's of miles of it. This was the absolute last place I would expect to have some of the best pizza i've had in YEARS. It's also incredibly affordable. Have the meatball sub and a large plain cheese pie with my family.

I truly do not understand the hype and good reviews of this place. Its the nastiest and most disgusting pizzeria ive ever been to and ownership is no better. Left disappointed and will definitely never be back. Ill make sure to tell my friends and family because the owner acted and spoke as if he does not want any business.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Candy's Pizza for Montague, our 161st town.
We made it to the "top" of Jersey, both geographically and geologically! Montague is the northern most town at the top of the map of the state. It also has the highest point in the state in High Point State Park.
Most other states have a sign that says "Last Exit in State" before you cross the border. Jersey has a sign that says "Last PIZZA in Jersey" before you cross the border, and Candy's Pizza is that place. We enjoyed a plain pie. Definitely a good place to get your Jersey pizza fix before headed to the pizza-less territories north of the state. :)
