I met the owner and he's one of the kindest people I've ever met. He has a long history of making pizzas in this area. The pizza was great and I'm told it rivals any made in New York City.
Candies Pizza Montague, NJ...Yup way up north in Sussex Co. Is a hidden Gem. The crust, sause sausage and even the onions still tasted fresh after a 10 minute drive home in the cardboard box. Thumbs up from Chef Craig .
We made it to the "top" of Jersey, both geographically and geologically! Montague is the northern most town at the top of the map of the state. It also has the highest point in the state in High Point State Park.
Most other states have a sign that says "Last Exit in State"...
