Fire & Oak - Montvale

Food is overpriced. The price for prime rib were high and the piece of meat was very fatty. Also the music is really loud. We were there for Easter and we were sat in the bar area and not the main room. The music was blasting. Also it took forever to get a server. I had to go up to the hostess station and finally the bartender was assigned to our table.

Couldn't have been better. Delicious food, fantastic service, great ambiance. Thank you!

This is a great place. Love variety in menu. Just a few things could be better. My DK was flat. No biggie. Spinach dip was luke warm not hot. Server was very polite and friendly. French fries are no longer made from scratch but truffle fries are 20? They were dry and starchy couldn't taste truffle oil. My prime rib was gorgeous small piece but I had one bite and wrapped it. Was very tight texture , not tender at all. Ate too tough. Rest of table enjoyed sushi rolls. My son had BBQ ribs and enjoyed them. I love the atmosphere and menu so I'd go back but bill was quite high just didn't meet mark for price but then again nobody is putting out top notch food in jersey cheese days.

Patrick and his staff were amazing, as always. His daughters work with him and assist in Ensuring everything is running smoothly. Patrick does his very best never to lose a customer. I have noticed this on many many occasions, he is gracious and although a group may have walking on a Saturday pm @ 7 demanding a table, Patrick always manages to keep everyone happy and satisfy everyone's requests. It is an art and very obvious he has been in the hospitality industry, in management levels for quite some time. He is an asset to F&O, and all of Upper Saddle River patrons or those that have been to F@O speak so highly of Patrick, and enjoys being there on days they know he is working. He keeps a tight eye on tables and guests and ensures people are well taken care of.

Amazing time was had . Oliver was our waiter and was excellent. Very busy night but he still managed to get our drinks and apps out very fast. Abe was making drinks & those drinks were delicious. He was on top of removing all the dirty cups from on top of bar super quick. Highly recommend!! Will be back soon.

Fire & Oak was wonderful. The staff and atmosphere are warm and the food is great. I will be back :)

Chicken lollipops tasted rewarmed, wedge salad was not a true wedge salad, but ok, the macaroni didn't have much flavor and watery, but the meatballs were superb. I ate one child the next morning it was so good.

I’m not sure how this restaurant has all of these 4 and 5 star reviews. We went here because of the great reviews. The bar staff is fantastic - the food, however, is a huge disappointment, especially for the price. Will definitely not be returning.

My experience at Fire and Oak is amazing!! Fire and Oak as well The Oak House have the same food but the staff were very nice at both restaurants. For dinner, I usually order a cheeseburger, french fries, spinach dip, and spicy tuna rolls for the table. Great restaurants in Bergen County.

Beautiful decor restaurant on the inside. Had the Fire & Oak burger, and it was good. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. It was double crunchy and naturally sweet.

Always a good time at F&O. Great food, ambience and service. Sushi is top notch, which is a nice bonus. highly recommended, either the Jersey City location, or Montvale will not disappoint.
