My family and I had breakfast here and while the food and the service was good, I was very disappointed that there were no egg-free pancake/waffle options for my toddler with egg allergies. Please consider egg-free options for those with food allergies.

Food quality is good, but my scrambled eggs were cool, my pancake was warm, coffee was warm. Nothing was hot and my pancake got cold before I could finish it. Food needs to be HOT when served!

I had a traditional breakfast with a biscuit. Food was very good. My server was Emily she was very good I would visit again.

First time at First Watch. Service was decent, waiter was pleasant. First thing we noticed was that the coffee got cold pretty quickly after applying the creamer. Although it is in a insulated pot we were just surprised that it did not maintain itself pretty hot even with small amounts of cream. That being said the coffee was good just didn't stay hot. The only other issue was the Bacado omelette I ordered was supposed to come with a side of pico de gallo. I asked a waitress at the end after we had already paid why it didn't come with it and she simply said that sometimes they do that because it's early in the morning. I didn't understand that assumption because it would have made the Omelette a lot more tasty. And I couldn't understand why they would assume most people don't want that just simply because it's in the morning. It actually was a decision maker for me to order the omelette. I'll take some blame for that though because it didn't dawn on me till afterward. I think that if I had realized it early on I would have said something but I guess I was so hungry that I didn't even think about it but I still felt it was important enough to mention it even though it was at the end. Case in point if you're looking at a menu item, make sure that it brings everything that it's supposed to.

I had such a great experience at First Watch in Montvale thanks to our waitress, Emily. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked in on us at the perfect times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out just the way we wanted it. Her positive energy honestly made the whole meal so much better. If you go to the Montvale location, definitely ask for Emily! you won’t be disappointed. She turned a regular breakfast into a memorable experience. First Watch is lucky to have her!
