Being new to the area, my wife and I walked along Main Street in Moorestown to see what businesses, and restaurants, there were. We happened to venture into the Cupcake Carnivale. Pleased with the appearance of the goods offered, we tried a few. It was a pleasant experience as we enjoyed our samples. Since then (only 2 weeks later) we have visited Jeffery several times and enjoy his tarts and cupcakes each night for desert. While the shop is small, the smell of freshly baked cupcakes will keep you coming back again and again. Jeffery is very pleasant to talk to, and will make you feel welcome each time you visit. We strongly recommend Cupcake Carnivale.

I recently went to this food truck at a food truck festival and I have to say these cupcakes were not worth the price. We paid $26 for 6 cupcakes and every cupcake lacked flavor. The frosting tasted like it had way too much powder sugar and the cake itself didn’t even taste like vanilla more like a flavorless muffins. As a baker myself, even just some vanilla flavoring or vanilla bean paste could fix the problem in the cake mix. So word of advice buy one to try before going for a 4pack or 6pack to start. I regret buying 6 from the start.

The cupcakes are $4.75 and delicious! I ordered the strawberry good humor cupcake which was divine according to my son who doesn’t love sweets. I also ordered the lemon coconut raspberry filled cupcake which was unusually delicious! The lemon buttercream was perfect topped with sweetened coconut and a generously filled raspberry jelly-like filling. I’d recommend 💯!

I just had the worst experience at Cupcake Carnivale.
When I walked into the store, there was no one behind the counter, but there was a gentleman sitting at a customer table. I didn’t want to assume that he worked there so I kind of just stood there for a second waiting to see if he greeted me. His version of “greeting me” was to say “yes?” in what seemed to be an annoyed manner. I said “oh, do you work here?” and instead of answering me, he just pointed at his shirt, which was a Cupcake Carnivale T-shirt - again, seemingly annoyed. I then told him what I wanted and was on my way without any other communication with him.
Here’s my review - food is good, customer service is the worst.
By the way, I now realize the totally rude guy I interacted with is the owner.

We got these at harvest ridge food truck festival. We saw so many ppl walking around with them. They looked really good but were so disappointed when we tasted them. We got a 4 pack and threw all 4 away after taking a bite of each. didn’t like any of them. They were dry and just not good.

The peanut butter brownie was literally heaven on earth. I don’t want to know the calorie count tbh but it was worth it. Recommend it warmed up so it melts in your mouth 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
