Health Haven is our go-to for everything from probiotics to jolly beans. During the tyrannical lockdown craziness this last year, it was also a refuge for our family, as it was the ONLY place in NJ that we could go without being harassed about the anti-science mask mandates. It's a great family-friendly atmosphere where our kids are treated respectfully and encouraged to look around and learn. They love visiting with the family dogs that hang out in the back room some days and are excited to learn about what new goodies are in the bulk bins. We are so grateful for Health Haven's competitive pricing and hope that Self Love, or another great vegan chef, will one day return to Health Haven, as we used to love having lunch there as well! The minimal waste mentality of dining here was greatly appreciated, as plastic and single-use materials are so dangerous to our world!

It’s so nice not to be muzzled and breath fresh air regarding a 99.9% survival rate. You can wear a mask if you’d like, but there’s no harassment either way. Yours will protect you right? So it’s a great experience with whichever you so choose if you’re not a karen. Great/healthy products! Will return.

The knowledge and expertise here is unmatched! George and his wife, Rebekah (who is also a well-known midwife in the area, in case you're looking) take great pride in researching every product they sell and will not sell any product that they don't personally stand by! George's knowledge of his products, and their uses, has greatly helped our family on multiple occasions! Despite prices being a bit higher than big box stores, as is very common in small business due to their inability to stock large quantities as a big box store would, we are more than happy to do our part to keep their friendly, compassionate service available. A big box store may offer lower prices but, they can't match the service or atmosphere at a family business! I HIGHLY recommend Health Haven and encourage you to pick up a scoop or two of Jolly Beans while you're there! ;)

He answered all my questions and even recommended some great products for my anxiety, body aches from hockey, and stress. The owner approached and I noticed he was not wearing a mask as I was. I asked where his mask was and he basically replied that he does not believe that the virus is real. I was stunned as I was in New Jersey in a health food store. When I asked why his reply was that his research was from online and does not believe that the virus is real. When I told him that he had a right to his beliefs as I do mine but that he should wear a mask out of respect for his customers health. No real reply was forthcoming. I told him that I could not support his business any longer and that I would never come back. I left.
