La Vita's Pizzeria is known for having the best pizza around, although the $1 slices are now $1.50. The restaurant is kid-friendly with paintings on the walls and TVs. They offer great lunch specials and excellent customer service. Despite some Yankees decor, it is a great local spot. A Jersey pizza snob rated their pie an 8. While the chicken parm sandwich is good, the garlic Parmesan chicken wings were not enjoyable due to excessive grease, which even affected the fries and the paper bag. Overall, La Vita's Pizzeria is a pretty good choice.
