It's so hard to go to brunch with folks when all they want is eggs and pancakes, but, you can go to Turning Point and have some vegan goodies! They have Just Egg, which is great, because you don't need to feel left out. They have a delicious power up grains bowl with a salad, quinoa and legumes, and sautéed veggies, dressed up with fresh avocado and salsa. It's a pretty decent size, but if you have a large appetite, it may not be enough. Thankfully, they have vegan pancakes, yesssss! Order them and be happy with your carbs, syrup and fresh bananas and strawberries. Top it all off with a bunch of juice and beverage options like French press coffee, tea, lattes and fresh juices. There's also avocado toast, waffles, oatmeal and at least one salad that's vegan friendly. So, that's pretty much an option in all the categories. This makes it a great option for veg*ns, because so often there is only one or two choices! There's also vegan sausage if you like that with your brekkie or brunch. Yum all around - just wish they had a vegan hot chocolate section. Parking is easy, service is quick and table are plentiful.

High ceilings and glass walls add to the atmosphere.

The food was decent but it was really off putting when you get your food and almost immediately they bring you the check and ask if you want boxes. We had barely even started eating when they brought us boxes, that just screams hurry up and leave. Its not like we had even been sitting there long, I eat pretty fast and I wasnt even finished half of my sandwich when they left the check. Its not very inviting, we felt rushed and unwelcomed. I understand being busy but we waited in line for a table just like everyone else and then weren't given the curtesy of eating our food at a normal pace. It was rude and tactless. As this was my first impression of the place I won't be coming back.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday, had about a 15-20 minute wait and about the same amount of time for our food to arrive. Our server was friendly as well as the other staff members, but it felt forced. Never asked us if this was our first time coming in or offered any recommendations, house favorites, etc. no how’s your day been, you know, “conversation”. While the restaurant itself was clean, I had to ask for a clean menu for my son. The kid’s menu was filthy with sticky juice all over it. They need to do a better job with cleaning the menus at least. We had to wait for silverware which was odd.

I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict. The pancakes were completely flavorless. Even with syrup and butter, it was just not appetizing enough to finish. Nothing about the salmon was smoked. It had way too many pickled onions which gave off an incredibly sour taste. All the other components of the dish seemed fresh and flavorful. Eggs were poached perfectly but they left the excess shedding on the plate which was kind of gross.

My husband said his breakfast combo was edible but nothing worth going back for. The potatoes lacked flavor and any kind of enthusiasm. Just sad diner food. It’s a shame we’re still on the hunt for a great brunch spot, but so far nothing beats Cafe Lift in Haddonfield. I may return for lunch to get a more accurate review of this place.

We called ahead and were told on the phone it would be a 30 minute wait. When we got to the restaurant we were then told by the front desk it would be 15 minutes. We then waited for 45 minutes. When our name was called. Front desk asked for our name because they had two of the same name. When we gave them our number they said we still had to wait another 15 minutes.
This was outrageous and completely ridiculous on the part of the front desk.
Not knowing how to manage times or tables as a host and hostess is terrible.
Do better

Disappointing Experience at Turning Point

I was really looking forward to trying Turning Point, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, there was no one at the hostess stand, and we waited around for about five minutes before a server noticed and seated us. Once seated, it took even longer to receive any glasses or utensils—these only arrived after we got our drinks, which felt pretty unorganized.

The wait time for our food was unusually long. We waited close to 30 minutes, only for it to arrive cold, as though it had been reheated in a microwave rather than freshly prepared. To make matters worse, our server was rarely around, so we felt stuck without a chance to address the issues right away.

Overall, the service and food quality were disappointing, and we left feeling that it wasn’t worth the wait. I hope this was just a one-off bad day for them, but I’d have a hard time recommending Turning Point based on this experience.

Turning Point is a fantastic spot and my go to option for lunch most days. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. The beet juice and Martha Vineyard Salad are my faves! They offer a variety of healthy options, which is perfect for anyone looking to eat well without sacrificing flavor. It’s become one of my go-to places for a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere!
