Perhaps, it's because it was a late dinner on the Labor Day.
1. Uni was not fresh.
2. Credit card terminal machine was not working. The staff didn't wait and try again. We had to pay $300 in cash. Lucky that we had cash.
3. The portion of calamari, an appetizer, is much less than what we get there during lunch.

I have been eating sushi for over 40 years and it does not get “ Better” than Mizu. I have eaten there dozens of times and have “ Never Been Disappointed “..Emily the owner is always so Pleasant and ALWAYS attentive to her staff and the professionalism that makes Mizu a neighborhood restaurant a cut above “ All” the rest.. If you love your Japanese food and Sushi this is the spot unless you happen to be Flying to Japan to compare.. Thank You for so many “Great Meals”
