Came here for brunch and waited upwards of an hour for food. 45 minutes after ordering the server came back out to confirm our order, saying their machine was down in the back. You think they would’ve communicated that a little bit earlier if they were having issues. Food came out at drastically different times. Working in the restaurant industry ourselves, we expected some sort of compensation. The only thing they offered was to order more juice on the house. We didn’t want the juice. So they made us order more juice just to take it off the bill, when they could’ve just comped our original drinks or some of the food we waited over an hour for. So we essentially still paid the whole bill and left disappointed. We asked for a to-go cup as we were planning to leave, but after 10 minutes of waiting for that we just got up and left. Unfortunately will not be returning.

I want to thank the Management team at First Watch in Morris Plains for donating a few gift cards to Diana Ministries LLC to give to the ladies at Mrs. Wilson's Treatment Center for Women. This is a treatment center for women overcoming addictions. Thank you for your generosity and the ladies are looking forward to a nice meal. Thank you for being a part of our village. Happy Holidays.

My coworkers (group of 14) and I were there on 10/29 at 12:30pm. I had called ahead the morning of to give them a heads up and although they said they don’t take reservations, they would take note of it.
When we got there, the tables were already set up and we were greeted by our friendly server (I forgot his name). I’m local to the area and have been to this First Watch many times before, but for many of my coworkers, it was their first time.
Every single person in our group was delighted with our server. Not once did he appear overwhelmed with our size. He was patient, courteous and always had a smile on his face. Half way through another server joined him (he might have been training), he was also very nice. I was asked if there was an occasion for the lunch and I told him it was my farewell lunch as I was relocating to another state. At the end of our lunch, the server came out with a gift card for me to use in my new state. That was so thoughtful!
Now I’m in my new state with First Watch nearby and can’t wait to go there. Thank you so much to our servers!

Great place to meet friends for casual breakfast or lunch. Convenient location near 3 major highways. Outstanding staff and quality foods with standard and chic menu items. Not cheap, but definitely superior to any diner and most lunch cafes. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is ok. They are able to turn tables around quickly so you won't wait too long even during busy brunch hours, but the food is average. I definitely don't recommend the benedicts. Also, the entire time we were there, one guy who is presumably a manager was YELLING at the staff in the kitchen the entire time. He was so loud that he echoed through half the restaurant. It was very unpleasant.

If you want some good quality food, this is a stop to try. The food looks good and fresh. We went in for lunch the other day, my wife got the French toast, and she said it was good. I got the pick 2, I got half roast beef and Cobb salad, and that was also good. Service wasn't the greatest. Our waitress was forgetting some items that we had ordered. It wasn't that busy for lunch either, so maybe she was having an off day. When I asked for a box for my daughters food, our waitress was missing and we had to go. I had to ask another waitress for a box so we could go. Food is good, but needs to have more options for kids to eat.

I’d give this place 3.5 stars. Seems like a good reliable spot. Servers and hosts were friendly on a busy Saturday. We were a large party and only really waited 15-20 minutes for a table. Menu is smaller and more healthier than like a diner. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I found my dish to be average- nothing super special about it. Clean inside and newer. Some outdoor seating as well. I’d probably try a new place before coming back but it got the job done for our group after an event.

Fresh delicious food. Onions were charred in omelettes. Non veg dish served to vegetarian in our company but an alert Nazia (?), checked it in time. On the other hand we had to remind her to get us plain half and half.
The place is popular and was mobbed. Service was good in spite of that
Vegetarian options: Salads sandwiches. Much more for those who eat eggs but not meat poultry or seafood
