It was our first trip to a Korean BBQ.....I guess it's just not our thing. Meat was too fatty for us.

CONS: - ALL THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE, DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. They have a promo for 5% off if you post a 5 star review for them. Lowers the authenticity of the place.
- Portions are so small. I'm a low caloric woman! I weigh 100 pounds at 5'5 , this was not enough food for anyone! The protein/meat slices are so small.
- Pricey. As I said before the meat slices are so small! We got 5 pieces of THIN pork for $50, it wasn't even good quality.
- BURNT PIECES. They burned all the meat. You might as well just cook it yourself! The portions are already so small and on top of that they overcook it which means that theres barely anything to eat.
- X-mas decor during march??
PROS:
- Good service, nice servers
- Free banchan if you ask
- Parking (empty)
- Rice

Take out - Order: Fried rice with chicken, but I think they made it with Beef. Since it was unrecognizable meat for us ended up tossing it as could not drive 30 minutes to return it.
Good food, at a premium.
Had the baked scallop which I would pass on.
The beef tartare was a good concept but being prechopped and stored in the mold left a bunch of ice crystals in the meat.
The bbq combo for 2 was good, but a little light on protein. A few tweaks and this place could be great.

I came with a friend for lunch. We ordered a lunch Barbicue Bulgogi for about 39$ and a lunch Soondooboo Seafood for about 16$. The bulgogi had to be cook from the back because we only had 1 order of barbucue.
The bulgogi came out and looked unpleasant. It was stale, no steam, no sound, no smell, no color and in a plate that does not even worth 10$. We asked for medium rare and it was 'well'. The beef was not ultra thin. It was very tender and has some flavors.
The Soondooboo was very good. I wish it was a little bit hotter for a cold day like that day. There was 1 big shrimp with head and 3 mini clams. The meal came with shreaded raw cabbage and a spread of mayo of some type. There is no claypot rice here.
Each meal has the same 4 or 5 banchan: kimchi, brocolli, another type of kimchi, flat tofu stir fry??, a square tofu in some sauce (maybe part of soondooboo) I did not pay much attention to them but they were tasty.
If you want a korean bbq experience, make sure you bring 1 or more friends that willing to try or buy 2+ bbq entries. Otherwise, there are other places.

the employee named HJ has bad customer service
service left much to be desired.
We were excited to try Korean BBQ and had high hopes based on the menu. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service from the hostess.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with a distinct lack of hospitality. The hostess failed to acknowledge our presence, never made eye contact, and seemed completely disinterested in our arrival. With reservations I would think they want to know which party’s have arrived but We were left standing awkwardly for a good 30 minutes before we decided to go to a different restaurant.
However, the initial poor service left a lasting impression. Good food can only compensate so much for a completely inhospitable welcome.
Recommendation:
should prioritize improving its customer service, particularly at the front of the house. A friendly greeting and a welcoming demeanor can significantly enhance the dining experience.

this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever witnessed. First we had to wait 20 min for someone to come take our order and the wait staff seemed confused about everything. Our appetizers came out and they were horrible, we couldn’t even finish them. The rice cakes were served with a mystery meat and the sauce didn’t taste right. Then the meat came out. Isn’t the whole point and the fun of Korean bbq that you get to cook the meat yourself??? That’s the whole reason why we went. Well, we were wrong. We had to watch our server cook our meat where she just plopped it on our plates and watched us eat it. She also kept cross contaminating the cooking utensils and was serving us meat that she touched with raw chicken tongs. The shrimp she gave us was raw and the chicken was burnt and dry. Horrible experience. I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could.

We decided to visit Woodam to celebrate my Brother-in-Law graduation. The service was very and the staff was very accommodating. we had a party of 12 and sat upstairs. The tops came out fast and the appetizers were VERY good. The main course was fine but a little too hot in temperature. Side note, even though they are BYOB, I would HIGHLY recommend their variety of ades. The Strawberry ade was so good I ordered 4. Overall 3.8/5 stars.

The food was either very salty or very sweet. Portions were small and the price was exorbitant for the quantity. Restaurant was also understaffed - we had to wait 30 minutes just for our side dishes and another 30 for our food. This restaurant offered a 5% discount for a 5 star review, which is why they have an inflated number of positive reviews. Don’t waste your money here, go somewhere else.

The waitress suggestion were really amazing. The service was fast and friendly.
If you choose to do the barbeque, they grill everything for you.
