Service was amazing. Our waiter explained everything on the menu and described each dish. The food was delicious and we ate way too much but left happy!

My Family went there they said food was good

Making food delivery drivers wait over 30 minutes for food is pretty inconsiderate. Also, the customer already paid for the food so you already got your money and know very well they're not going to cancel so you're taking advantage of that. I'm definitely reporting this restaurant

This place is a true gem in Morris Plains. Their attention to details is second to none. From the food to the service, to the decor of the place. Dinner can be pricy but lunch is great and economical.

Could be one more star but their lack of common sense in food safety ruined it. See Cons.
Pros:
- Authentic
- Quality of the meat above average
- Generous banchan options
- Service was quick when ask for beverage and banchan
- Plenty of free parking space in backyard
Cons:
- The waiter placed raw brisket to spare plate as I asked him to cook another one first (see black plate in first photo). He didn’t replace it and put all of the cooked vegetables into same plate afterward. When I pointed out, he moved food to a new plate but didn’t cook food again since gas had been turned off, so it’s useless technically. This arose food safety concern and should never happen in a restaurant!
- Same waiter was training another waitress how to grill each type of food, in Korean not English. Usually we wouldn’t mind if it’s quick and if they asked, but he didn’t ask and they were talking in another language next to us during entire grill course. A bit rude in my two cents.
- They did BBQ for us, which I prefer to do it at my own pace. Understood they would need to speed up for next round if peak hours, but we were there at 2pm on Sunday, many tables were available.

The service was like never there. Waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come to take our orders. Another 10 minutes to get his attention without any water. It's really hard to get things right compared to a normal Korean restaurant. You would imagine bringing water to a table with 7 people there should be a no brainer and common sense like the first thing to do for these waiters. They are trying to check all the boxes in a place situated away from legit Korean town like Fort Lee and Palisades Park but just missing the bar.

We found this place a little while ago because we were looking for a local place that serves cold noodles in the summer and were pleasantly surprised at how great everything is. It’s actually hard to find Korean food that isn’t overpriced, but everything is very good and fairly well priced. We got the Spicy Cold Noodle and Galbi Lunch special and the new octopus over rice and they were both great. Definitely a good spot if you love Korean food!

My experience was nothing but great. the meat quality was excellent, and the staff grilled everything from start to finish with care and attention.
Everything was super clean, and the service made the whole meal even better.

It’s such a relief not having to drive to Palisades Park for good Korean BBQ anymore!

This place is 100% worth it. I’d come back anytime.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from Woodam. I normally drive to Pal Park for Korean food. It was 100 degrees outside and I really just needed some naengmyeon. I didn't want to roast in my car driving 50 mins in traffic and after looking around on Google, I found this place which offered Korean cold noodle. This place is known for its KBBQ but since I wasn't here for that, I held my breath and ordered my naengmyeon.

We were served a variety of banchan, and every single one was delicious. We were provided a refill after we devoured everything. I was impressed with the variety and their willingness to refill everything. When my naengmyeon came, I was ecstatic. Not only was it delicious, the staff also provided additional pickled radish. I was so pleasantly surprised.

The staff were friendly and the space was clean. I left a very happy guest.

A decent Korean restaurant. Plenty of BBQ meat choices and stew/soup selections. Food tasted pretty good. Service was straightforward, food arrived a bit slow. We waited for 20+ minutes afterm ordering and had to call a waitress to even get the small dishes served.
