1776 Morristown offers a staggeringly uneven experience. The interior is impressive, creating a sophisticated atmosphere with classy holiday decorations. The menu features standout dishes like the Clothesline Bacon, Lobster Dumplings, and Bananas Foster French Toast, which are all excellent. The California Roll, Filet Mignon, Sea Bass, Shrimp and Scallops, and Chicken Parmesan also receive high praise. Cocktails are great as were the appetizers, sushi, muscles, and fries with a twist. Entrees were delicious too, the rib eye, short rib pasta etc.
The service can be outstanding, with attentive and welcoming staff. However, it can also be inconsistent, with service a little bit slow. The restaurant is known for its chill vibe. Everything is great. The desserts were delicious. We felt like royalty! We had a great meal and a fab evening! It was a very busy night packed house, therefore the noise level was a little higher. Despite these flaws, many guests enthusiastically recommend 1776 Morristown for its varied menu and standout dishes, making it a place worth visiting.
