Arepas Paisas Morristown

I picked up my order and went home after a long day at work. I noticed that the rice and beans tasted weird so I asked my family to taste it since I lost taste after covid. Sure enough the food was spoiled! So I go back to the restaurant with the food and I tell them to taste it and one of the girl takes it back to the kitchen, comes back and says the food is fine so both girls look at me like I’m talking out of my butt. What pisses me off is that I could’ve gotten really sick! The nerve to serve spoiled food and the way things got handled instead of addressing it. Ever again will we order from here. Nunca mas vuelvo a ordenar de este restaurante después de servir comida echada a perder y lo miran a uno como si estuviera loco. Como si uno tiene la necesidad de hir a recojer la comida,hir a casa y volver al restaurante para un rembolso de $10 que aún estoy esperando ala jefa que me llame. Que feo que tengan el descaro de servir comida podrida sin importarles que tan mal se puede enfermar la persona.

The best!
I usually order the soups, the flavors are just amazing, the service is very nice and the atmosphere too! super clean,, tried the freshly squeezed orange juice and it was so good too. I highly recommend this place in Morristown and in Dover.

I ordered fresas con crema and the strawberries were frozen 😭 (literally ice) i think they used the one they put on the smoothies. I ordered multiple times before and they were different 😔 sad

For a place called Arepas Paisas, the arepa was not very impressive.

The worst places I have ever eaten. The beans were raw, the rice was not even raw too. Then I asked for some strawberries with cream and what they gave me is a vask with fried strawberries. Incredible, not recommended

The attention is terrible. It takes about 40 minutes to wait for them to give you the menu, and for them to bring you the food it takes approximately 1 hour ?‍?. The food is not very good and the cost is high.

The prices on the menu were not updated, we were surprised when we saw the bill was more expensive than expected. When we asked the cashier about this, she did nothing about it, she just said she couldn't do anything because she was not the owner, and since the restaurant was not hers, she did not care if the customers were not happy. I hope the owner hires someone else, I do not recommend the place while the service is provided by her.

***COCKROACH in my food*** I found a hair strand in my food, but I was able to let that go. I had left over food that I wrapped to go and when I got home, I opened my to go food to finish it and I saw a dead cockroach in the chicken!!! So disgusting, made me feel sick in my stomach! I called the restaurant and was hung up twice. Until I was able to speak to someone and obtained her cell number. I sent the pictures and she apologized and informed me that she will reach out to her manager about this. It has been 24 hours and I still have not received a call back nor my messages has been responded to after it has been read!

I ate and it was very delicious, the comfort and the staff were very good and the service was excellent.
