This is one of the best restaurants in the region. Their menu is seasonal, which keeps things unique and interesting. Their staff are warm and knowledgeable. Not to be missed!

My recent experience left me deeply disappointed. While the menu has options, the high prices simply don't match the quality of the food.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable. I witnessed the owner berating staff members, which created a tense and unpleasant dining experience. No one wants to eat a meal where they feel like they're witnessing workplace abuse.

Given the combination of overpriced, underwhelming food and the disrespectful treatment of employees, I strongly recommend exploring other dining options in the area.

Edited post to respond to owner’s reply:

Your response speaks volumes about your character. As a paying customer, I'm entitled to share my experience. I'm not a troll, and I encourage you to review my other reviews for further context. Instead of responding with such hostility, perhaps focus your energy on reflecting on how to improve your business and most importantly how you treat others, especially your staff.

If I could give over a 5 review for each category I would! First time here and was blown away by the service and had the pleasure of sitting right behind the kitchen and observing the owner and head chef running the place like a true BOSS! I heard her say at one point, “This dish isn’t pretty enough. Make it pretty.” She gave it back to the cook. She wiped every open area of the plates of prepared dishes that came out, making sure they were pretty. Top notch! The food was just as good.

We held our company holiday party at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the staff was professional and attentive. The atmosphere was both festive and welcoming. Chef Leia was extremely accommodating, making sure my meal stayed warm while I presented awards to the team. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great service and delicious food.

I’ve been to S+P more times than I can count. The food is ALWAYS AMAZING! The portions are GREAT for the price! And the staff is just FABULOUS! The love and passion that is put into the menu shows the dynamic talents of not only the Owner and Head Chef, but every single member from the host stand, servers, and bussers. Just an INCREIBLE atmosphere all around.

Had lunch at that place. Food 1/5 (quality vs price is horrible). Specifically $25 "Local Beef Burger" was barely warm with mundane taste. French fries: barely warm & soggy. Only 3!!! "Spicy Lamb Meatballs" for $17!!! were just okay, nothing special (meatballs from Trader Joe's are much better). So called "Fried Chix 2.0" was simply dry (far from being 2.0, perhaps -2.0). It took a looong time for them to make & bring that fairly simple food to the table. Atmosphere: 3 / 5. The only 5 / 5: service (attentive). Paid $80 for 2 and left hungry. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and wouldn't go there again.

We came for lunch and had a sandwich and salad.
We enjoyed the fresh food and local ingredients here.

Food was so fresh and the items were a perfect pair to the season. Service was wonderful and everything was very clean! I love the extensive options for vegan and gluten-free. Mocktails were very refreshing! It was my first time here and certainly will not be my last! I ordered the you-pick-two fall harvest salad and creamy pumpkin lentil soup. Not a crumb or drop was left!

Place isnt what it used to be…found it slightly over priced especially for the portions and the service. It was clear on the reservation that full parties wont be seated, but missing one person we were seated regardless. Dylan was our server and like other reviews have pointed out, he was on us to place an order quickly even with one person missing as that was the “kitchen’s rule.” I was baffled when he was like….”well you better call that person and see what they would like.” My group works for a global hotel chain and we left trying to be empathetic to the situation, but when you’re on us to move things along for a night where people weren’t waiting to be seated the lesson learned is…..there are better options in Morristown.

Delicious business dinner with colleagues. Fresh high quality ingredients. Creative dishes with a Mediterranean flare. Good sized shareable appetizers for a group. Gluten free options on the menu. Only drawback was no gluten free dessert. it's BYOB so stop by a nearby shop to pick up some wine. Very reasonably priced for a west-coast person

My wife and I ate here Thursday the 17th. We were ten minutes late for a 5:30 pm reservation and Dylan made sure to tell us 'twice' that our table was reserved for 7:00 pm...got the hint. We split a Fall Crunch salad which was the best part of the whole meal; highly recommend this. I had the Grilled Salmon, she had the Braised Short ribs. The rice with my meal was not warm, neither was her potatoes. The only vegetable they offer on the menu is sauteed spinach (yuck); they need to offer other healthy sides vs three different kinds of fries...there are plenty of great restaurants in Morristown; this one we won't re-visit.
