My friend dates a girl that lives in Morristown and told me about this place. I have been all over, and usually less than impressed with food in NJ. I drove about an hour away to try this place. FYI been back about 8X in 3 weeks, its that good.
When we went yesterday- we were warmly greeted by the restaurants Nonna, “Josephine” who made us feel at home. What a beautiful lady inside and out! Even the counter manager Pablo checked on us, he cares about the business.
I had the chicken Parm platter -it was awesome and as good as any fine dining NYC restaurant, frankly better.
I usually don’t eat pizza often, but I had to have it- it was the best pie I’ve ever had. The crust is crispy and chewy. You can taste the sour the operator uses. Everything is top shelf.
What was Portnoy thinking with a B- score, he should be reviewing matza ball soup instead of Italian food!
Its also very affordable. In fact I don’t know how this guy does it. We ordered four dishes and it was $80. That’s very reasonable considering the quality.
Caniglios is in A+.

Awesome spot for pizza. Crust has a perfect balance of crisp exterior with a soft and fluffy interior. Pizza was loaded with basil and a little heavy on the sauce but I used the sauce to dip the crust in. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. A good spot for shared meals.

We have been going to Coniglios since they opened — the pizza, bread and the pastries are all amazing. It’s our go-to place when people visit and want good pizza or the kids come back home. Did I mention the egg sandwiches? My favorite is the Potato, Egg & Cheese on a semolina roll with a cup of cappuccino.

Amazing amazing amazing. We travel thru NYC to get there. Real fermented dough, fresh breads, and family owned. Doesn't get better than Coniglio's.

I was in Morristown over the weekend and I had the most delicious pizza and Spaghetti carbonara! The staff were very nice and the food didn’t take too long. Pretty cool shop too. Great overall.

Cool place and great pizza. We got the Nonna's grandma pie with added pepperoni.
I also like that there are pastries for purchase as well.
We parked in the nearby parking structure for $2. Get a table first then order at the counter.

I’m still giving 5 stars because this has been my favorite spot since it opened. However my last dine in experience was pretty poor and it made me wonder if the owner was on vacation because the standards were lacking. We ordered the fennel salad as we do every time and this time the fennel wasn’t shaved thinly as usual and was nearly impossible to eat, 85 just didn’t taste right either, we let the staff know and they removed it from the table and said - maybe a bad batch. No offer to remake or replace or refund. The lemon pizza was delicious but I was disappointed to see the produce sticker still on the lemons- I hope they were washed thoroughly. Not the Coniglio’s experience I’m used to- please don’t go downhill like so many other formerly great spots!

Honestly, just reading the responses of the owner to the bad reviews made me not want to ever step foot in that place. Such a shame, we were excited to try it out…Rude is not the way to treat your paying customers. Super unprofessional.
Placed an pick order drove 15mins there waiting another 15mins in the store before getting told it will be another 15mins before my order is ready.. walked right out and won't ever order again

The pizza is 'sweeet' so either the dough or the sauce has sugar in it (or both?). This is my least favourite spot in Morristown for pizza.
The plates are tiny so you can't even fit a slice on them it hangs over the side and comes in to contact with the table - not what I want from a dine-in experience.
There are better options a short walk away so I cannot recommend this spot...

The least Italian pizzeria I’ve been to. They refuse to give you single slices and only pies. Disappointing.
