Top tier burger! Tomato relish takes it over the edge. Plus the pour a phenomenal pint of Guinness.

Place was recently renovated. It definitely lost some character. Food is decent. Atmosphere is somewhat sterile. Pints are hit & miss as is the service. If you get the wrong server the experience isn’t great. With so many options in Morristown this wouldn’t be my first recommendation.

Stopped at the door and kept being denied while I had a group of people inside waiting for me. Once I proved they were inside via txt message I was allowed in. The food was mediocre at best. For the price it was not good at all. I got the burger and fries. The fries were actually the only good thing. I took forever to get our order in. Had to flag down the waiter several times because he just left us so we sat waiting for drinks forever. They had an issues doing the math on the bill and had to redo the bill twice. On top of that we were charged extra for a few items and had to prove we didn't order it. One of the meals they forgot to either write in or cook so one of our people waited a LONG time to get their order. If you're going for drinks at the bar it might be okay. Don't go for the food or service

Decent pub. Was visiting form abroad for a family members wedding back in October and I was almost refused service after I ordered my second drink because they decided to ID me after serving me one pint. Because my ID was from abroad it took 4-5 people to decide if it was “valid”. Otherwise I have no issues. Just shocking that it took that many staff to check an ID.

Irish pub fare at it's finest! Updating this for 11/2024. Came here for lunch after the remodel and what a beautiful end result! It's so popular we had to eat at the bar. I had no trouble chowing down this salad.

Kitchen needs help. Wings insanely salty. Loaded potato skins were cold. Shepherds pie rather bland.

First visit here since the refurbishment and new management.

The first impression is it is no longer a dive bar - it is now very bright and modern but that also means it is nothing like an old school Irish bar and the only thing that makes it seem Irish are a couple of menu items and a few decorations on the walls and ceiling.

So on to the food. We went for lunch and ordered fish and chips, onion rings and a ham and cheese toastie. The batter on the fish and chips is just way too thick. The result is the outside is overcooked and the inside batter is pasty as it isn't fully cooked, the curry sauce was overly sweet but nicely spiced and the mushy peas were just ok. The onion rings were excellent - the same batter as the fish, but this time the correct amount so works very well. The ham and cheese toastie was very average. The fish and chips could really be excellent by reducing the batter on the fish, less sugar in the curry sauce and making the mushy peas taste like peas. I am hopeful they make these slight changes as coming from the UK these tweaks really would make it a legitimate menu item.

The staff were incredibly friendly, but we did have periods with empty glasses while trying to get the attention of a server to take another drink order. On the subject of drinks, they charged $2 for 'rocks' (although ice is served for free with water so go figure), $1 for a mixer and $13 for vodka - we've had much better pours at many, many Morristown bars for $13, not the $16 charged here.

There is an issue that I do not think they can easily fix - the bar while impressive, is just too large for the room. That means there just isn't enough space for patrons to easily navigate past people sitting at the bar - especially by the front entrance. I think the only way to fix it would be to install a new door at the very front and remove the wall that causes the very narrow space on the right of the current door. While we were there, a woman sitting in the narrow pinch point moved to avoid being bumped even though it was a relatively quiet lunch time - my wife was there last week on a Saturday at 10pm and she said it was ridiculous trying to get to the bar.

I am giving an average rating from this visit but I absolutely will be back to try other menu items and hope the food improves. I would encourage you to visit to give the new menu a try.

They do however seriously need to stop charging $2 for ice and $1 for a tiny splash of a mixer in a cocktail if they want us to use it as a bar...that is just price gouging without being transparent. Just call it a $16 cocktail up front without hidden 'extras' that every other bar includes.

Stopped in for a pint while my wife was at the eye doctor. Best pint of Guinness I have had in NJ. I’d give it a 6.8. The place looks great after the refurb. I wanna come back and try the food

Commenting only on the bar area- I never came before the renovation and was never interested. Now I wanted to see the updated version. It’s a wrap around bar area and gets crowded. Its moderately lit and has a marble style bar counter. Its a good place to meet friends. The drinks I had are decent, and fortunately not weak. When its crowded the service is slow because they’re busy trying to serve everyone. I think they need to add another bartender while its new for awhile. Drinks go down fast and if everyone is just drinking there’s always going to be a need.

Triumphant return! I loved what they did to improve the space. It was old and tired. It is now bright and fresh. My wife had Chicken Pot Pie and I went for Shepherd’s Pie. Hot and delicious. Service was attentive and prompt. Guinness was very good indeed. Flavorless cider was only disappointment. Who doesn’t like a good Irish Pub?! We will return!

Not off to a great start. Manger is rude. Ordered three different items on the menu but had none. Fine we were able to get a burger but it was not cooked. We tried to order two different beer had none of them either. If this keeps up they will not be open long. I used to go there a lot but now not sure if I will go back. Very sad.
