Lol when all the good restaurants in Morristown are at an hour wait this place becomes the default. We had to settle here since the wait time to eat was only 15 minutes and I can see why. We were sitting by the kitchen area in the back and my wife saw the mozz carrozza appetizer she ordered get nuked up in the microwave... amazingly that was my favorite dish and still have this as leftovers for tomorrow. My parents are easy to please and did not mind the food themselves ( see where I'm going here ) but I know when corners are cut and this place does it to the MAX. Old ass bread for the table, cheap shrimp for the risotto and yes a Cash Only establishment make this a " I need somethin in ma belly before I go to a show at the MPAC " their location is primo which means they will always be busy when there are events at the PAC which also means they are lazy .. maybe it's me but this place is a hard pass... unless you're faced with an hour wait.

Pros: Great and prompt service, trendy vibe, walkable.Cons: My dining partner and I really weren't wowed by the food :( . Pretty normal stuff. No conspicuous signage that it's cash only and BYOB. All their to-go packaging is stacked next to the bathrooms...

Food was good, not great. Service was excellent. Ambience was meh. Too noisy to be able to have a conversation.

We had dinner here about two weeks ago and everything was great ! Unfortunately, our visit last night was awful. I had the chicken Milanese and the chicken cutlet was like rubber. The waiter asked if I’d like another dish or something else . I had the pork chop Milanese instead because I was afraid to try the chicken again. The pork chop replacement was very good but to our surprise we were charged the difference in price. We do not think that was good business etiquette especially when you have to send an dish back and wait for a replacement dinner Also, we ordered mussels which we thought were very good, however there were pieces of spaghetti strands in the dish. Really not sure how that can happen and did not ask. I had the lemon cake which was very good but a tiny slice for $10. My husband had the cheesecake which was also a tiny slice and he could taste the freezer burn.We didn’t dispute anything but the dinner because we generally do not complain or write reviews but the level of dissatisfaction was to great.

Excellent local Italian that is a true delight. Everything ordered to date has been exceptional from regular menu items to specials. Chicken and Veal dishes are amazing. The Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer is uniquely served with piccata sauce that is fantastic. The meatballs are top notch as is their sauce. Service is professional and attentive. They care that each diner is pleased. Note: it's basically cash only (venmo ok) but it's worth it.

I have no idea why anyone would put less than 5 stars. This place is out of this world. I could've drank a pint of the vodka sauce. Service was outstanding, food was outstanding. All around vibe was 10/10.

Let me put it this way : If you want delicious italian food, this is the right place. The service is excellent. But here's the thing: If you are here for a romantic dinner, fuhgeddaboudit !It was very loud. In the hour we were there,we knew the entire life story of the table next to us I actually got dizzy from the noise and had to leave fast.

This is the best Italian food in Morristown! Service is always friendly. Ambiance is very cool, BYOB helps with the wallet. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Sadly disappointed by this place. First, we were given the absolute last table in the place - next to the kitchen, store room and back hall. Place was not full and we had a reservation so that didn't make a good first impression. Took almost ten minutes to get a waiter. No discussion - just "are you ready". We were there with our nieces for their first Nutcracker and I was hoping for a bit more. Food was ok - nothing special. Veal piccata was too lemony and blah otherwise. Penne Vodka was just ok. Didn't try the other dishes - bolognese and Pasta Guerriero's but neither got finished. Took ten minutes to get more bread for the very hungry kids while we waited for meals. I am sure there is better Italian in Morristown so even though it is convenient I doubt we would return.
