Hibiscus has catered my last two holiday gatherings, and they never disappoint. This year, Thanksgiving was made extra special by Hibiscus' delicious soup, oxtail, curry vegetables and rum-infused bread pudding. My family is Jamaican, and trust me, this is authentic Jamaican with an elevated touch. Everyone at our Thanksgiving dinner made sure to bring leftovers home with them! Lol. Karlene, the owner, is wonderful, and very accommodating to your individual catering needs. We will continue to order from Hibiscus for our family events.

If you come late in the day, it looks like an abandoned restaurant. When my family first pulled up, it looked like it was closed and we would have turned around if it wasn't for that SMALL DIM open sign.

The service was okay, but it seems like there was a very small selection and lonely atmosphere all together. It doesn't seem to get alot of business and I now know why...the food.

I had the Chili salmon. I had the last piece apparently and it was okay...but the rice was wierd and had an awful after taste. But the salmon was okay. The rice and beans were okay and the ox tail was okay.

I wouldn't come back but I don't regret trying something new.

The food tasted like it had been sitting there for days. The oxtail and jerk chicken were dry and bland, the plantains were hard and portion size was underwhelming-hardly any meat. Completely not worth the price. Extremely disappointed.

Delicious food, sweet people working the counter. The restaurant inside needs to have climate control; it is a bit too warm in there, so it is hard to sit inside.

Much to ask. I order jerk chicken the lady gives me chicken and tries to put curry sauce on it. Jerk chicken has “ jerk sauce”
Then she gives me a little bit of chicken. I’m from Brooklyn man crown heights step your game up

Ordered online - the food is amazing!!! As they were out of the veggie patty, they gave a gift card double the amount of the veggie patty and handwrote a sweet apology note. I wasn't upset about missing out on the veggie patty but the consideration was unexpected and greatly appreciated. I let my family know about this place and we will be coming in person soon - definitely frequently as well. Thank you so much!!

My fave was the rice and beans. I don’t know about Caribbean food but I do know rice and beans and this hit the spot! Delicious flavor, amazing texture. Veggies were steamed perfectly and the stew chicken was fall off the bone perfection. Establishment was tidy, including the bathrooms. Service was friendly, warm, hospitable and could see the pride put into this place. Loved our family meal on the patio.

What a rare gem of a restaurant! The food was super fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to try this restaurant again with my family. We had them recently cater our networking event in Northern NJ, and their catering service too is wonderful! Thank you to your wonderful staff. Keep up the amazing work!

The female manager at this establishment is incredibly kind, considerate, and professional. She communicates with genuine understanding and respect, which made the entire experience smooth and pleasant. I would absolutely do business with her again!
