I’ve been on the hunt for a good Malaysian/Thai spot in NJ, and after being spoiled by the incredible variety of Asian restaurants in Queens, finding this place feels like a breath of fresh air. Even though it’s considered fusion, the food tastes surprisingly authentic. The Nasi Lemak was spot on, and the sambal had great flavor! Definitely try their Malaysian milk tea — it’s different from Thai milk tea: creamier, with a slightly nuttier taste. And the prices were not bad!! Customer service was good 👍

Our first time was very good food, 2nd time was so so, the 3rd time was very bland, chicken was dry, cucumber salad was water with 5 pieces of cucumber!! Palm Thai has gone terrible!! So Disappointed!!!

We wanted a light lunch and got just the roti appetizer, the tom kha, and the wonton soup. The first two were kinda disappointing, especially the tom kha which was overwhelmingly coconut milk and had the barest breath of the spices and flavors I expect. To be fair, there was no lack of chicken and mushrooms and other veg; substantial. The roti should have been more flaky and I didn't care for the curry it came with. The wonton soup was pleasantly very on point -- the broth is traditionally made with dried fish, which you hardly see anyone use anymore because of cost, but I believe they used kombu or some kind of seaweed to bring across that particular umami. Service was very attentive.

Extremely tasty food, I haven’t had better Asian in NJ than this (specially if you love spicy food, they can make it upon request). Their Malaysian curries (both veg and meat), kapung fried rice, noodles, roti, are amazing.
Staff is extremely friendly, fast, good at communication and order customization. Prices and quantities are very reasonable as well.

Very unprofessional when it’s comes to apps delivering service. They only care about dine in people’s. Make me wait 45 min when she keep telling 10 min.
Fish tasted off and I couldn’t eat it. The rest was very underwhelming. Very disappointing.

Seems like might have changed ownership since our last visit. Menu changed. We ordered our usual but everything was off. The Pad See Ew was overly seasoned with dark soy sauce and way too sweet. It also was served with American broccoli instead of Chinese broccoli as it should’ve been. Golden Pork Chops were over fried. Garlic chicken was poorly executed where chicken was falling apart with no garlic flavor. Beef teriyaki was probably the worst as it wasn’t even whole pieces of beef and was more of a Gyu-Don dish but again poorly executed. Chinese broccoli was served with chicken and overly sauced. The only dish that any semblance of what this place used to was the Hainan Chicken.
Service was nonexistent to slow. Took well over an hour and we were the only ones seated for a 2pm lunch.
Will not be coming back. Very disappointing for my family as this used to be a favorite.

Holy moly everything was delicious! We got the green curry with chicken and the drunken noodles with chicken and both were incredible. We also got a side of coconut rice because we needed more rice for the size of the dish and wow, what a combination! The portions were huge and a great deal for the money. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Always a great experience here.
I'd recommend the scallion chicken, curry puffs and beef chow fun.
Family run restaurant with a huge heart.
A total sleeper restaurant that you should visit. Incredibly vegetarian friendly. The owners are so nice and welcoming.
