Great prices if you pay with cash (tip is not included so be sure to tip!) and the sushi is so fresh and tasty

The food was fine. The service was absolutely terrible. I got one roll told her to keep the change. She did not believe that that was enough tip so she yelled across the restaurant that I did not leave enough tip for what I ordered. I ordered one roll! Absolutely embarrassing, and will not be coming back because of this server

First time ordering . Now I understand how they can price their sushi so cheap( it says 50% off). The sushi is not on par with other quality sushi in the area. This was mushy and had a funny taste. Like it was old.
I won’t go back.

I love masago and the food as well but my experience is usually ruined by the servers. it always seems like they are in a rush no matter time of day! The waiter rolled her eyes while I was just asking a question, and they kept rushing us throughout the whole process like they were just trying to get us in and out. I don’t appreciate that they include the tip in the check because then it just seems like they treat the customer however they want, even the table next to us was talking about how rude they were being. I hope you guys actually make a change because as a regular customer, it’s getting tiring. πŸ˜žπŸ’”

My family has been coming here weekly for about 3 years now. The staff is extremely friendly, and they always talk to and play with our children (2 and 4). We always do sushi, but our kids do the udon noodles and sometimes the sesame/general tso chicken and we have not been disappointed. We recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Sushi is good and real value for money. However staff no so welcoming. We came for lunch and the whole staff was having lunch it took multiple requests for them to get us our bill

Masagos 50% off sushi if paid in cash is awesome. Thank you so much to this small business for keeping going out to eat/takeout financially accessible. Especially considering the costs of dining out in the area. The quality of their food is great and I love coming here!

I have never written a one-star review before, but this experience absolutely warrants it.

I called in a to-go order for my fiancΓ©, Masago has been one of our new favorite sushi places since moving nearby. When I placed the order, I was never told the total but figured I could pay cash or card. I knew the cash price is discounted since my fiancΓ© is always the one to pick it up, so I brought what I believed would be enough.

When I arrived, I realized I was $5 short in cash. I politely asked if one of the rolls could be paid for with a credit card. The cashier responded with the worst attitude I have ever experienced. To the point where I genuinely considered walking out. I calmly explained, β€œI didn’t know the cash price when I called inβ€”sorry I didn’t bring enough cash.” She responded with a snarky comment, saying, β€œI can’t charge card. We don’t do that.”

She then proceeded to ring the order up as both cash and card anyway, but the entire time she was rolling her eyes and acting as though ringing me up was a burden. It truly felt like she didn’t want to serve me at all.

I then asked if spicy mayo was included (which I had ordered). She replied, β€œYou never told me, so you don’t have one.” I asked if I could purchase one, and she walked to the back mumbling something I couldn’t understand, then tossed/slid the sauce cup into the bag without saying a word.

Management should absolutely look into this. No customer should ever be treated this way. This occurred on January 17, 2026 around 2:50 PM. The woman was wearing a pink sweater that said β€œFriday.” If that individual was management, shame on you for treating customers this way.

I always give people the benefit of the doubtβ€”everyone has bad days. But rolling your eyes and acting annoyed simply because a customer is purchasing food from your business is unacceptable.

When signing the receipt, I paused to wait for my customer copy and never received one. I left without a single thank you from her. The only person who acknowledged us was a waitress sitting in a booth who kindly called out, β€œThank you, have a good day,” in a genuine and polite way.

I was with a friend, and the entire time she looked extremely uncomfortable due to how I was being treated. When we left, she was shocked and said I should have called the cashier out for her behavior. It was truly awful.

I will never step foot in this restaurant again after feeling so unwelcome.

If management would like to reach out I would be more than happy to discuss further.

It was pretty good food, I dont like wasabi, so that was the only downside. Besides that it was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! The prices is reasonable for what you get! Overall a great place for food!
