Terrible experience! Waiter and staff are rude and very unprofessional. Made a mistake by ordering a milky tea. Tried to change it, and waiter got offended and was rude. Paid for the drinks and walked next door! What a difference of quality and service.

The service here is awful. For a few weeks I frequented this restaurant and the service was sub par. I finally stopped going when the manager yelled at me about a simple mistake of picking up the wrong to go order (which she should've handed me). She then gave me a backhanded and disrespectful apology. Furthermore the food is mediocre AT BEST. Sushi lounge just a half a block away has much better food and portions.

They do a special where most things are 30-50% off if you pay cash, but with inflated prices, you end up with a semi-discounted set of special rolls that say “you get what you pay for.” Perhaps with all the local sushi spots, this cash/discount approach is the hook. That’s fine, it’s just not for me. Disclaimer, I have gone to “all you can eat” places that are of much better quality. Pictures from the other reviews do not look like what I got, perhaps it was just an off day for them.

Ambiance was depressing to me. Server was very curt. She literally said, "What do you want?"! Why would anyone in the service industry talk to customer like that? Food is good and fresh but took forever to be served. So just on food alone, I would probably go back, but the other aspects of it are seriously annoying.

I honestly believe that Masago has the best tasting sushi and sashimi in the immediate area, but even if you don't agree with that, the discount with paying cash is so good that the value is simply TOO high for me to consider any other sushi, ever.I refuse to believe that even if you think any of the other local areas have better tasting premium rolls that you would be willing to pay almost DOUBLE the price for it. Nope, sorry, can't convince me!Occasionally I'll even get a non sushi item just to evaluate other parts of the menu, and I've also found that any udon dish is just as tasty. Have gone here for years, and will continue to do so.

Best sushi in Morristown. Everything is incredible, Masago is BYO. We have not had one meal here that we didn't love - it was a hard couple of months during covid when they had to shut down but we made sure to order as soon as they re opened and so grateful they have moved back to in person dining. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu and you won't find anything at this quality/ price as it is 50% for cash on sushi and 30% off on kitchen.
