The Perfect 10 roast beef sandwich is delicious!

Food is always a 10/10 however have noticed the pickup process has slipped lately. The last few times I ordered for pickup via DoorDash I have had to wait 10-30 minutes after arriving at the estimated time for pickup. I understand it's only an estimate but a continual 10+ min delay is frustrating and estimates need to be updated to accurately reflect the turnaround time required during peak hours.

Millburn Deli is hands down one of my favorite spots when I’m craving a really good sandwich. They never miss when it comes to quality, and the atmosphere always feels warm and inviting. Street parking is available nearby, though it’s metered, so keep that in mind if you’re stopping by.
Now, let’s talk about the sandwiches. The Superman? Absolutely incredible. It’s loaded with layers of tender pastrami, crisp lettuce, fresh white onion, and a generous spread of extra mustard that ties it all together. Every bite is flavorful and satisfying, and the bread is perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all those ingredients.
Then there’s the Griller #8, which is just as amazing. The roasted chicken is juicy and pairs so well with the pesto and the other toppings. The bread is perfectly grilled, giving it that crunchy texture on the outside while still being soft on the inside.
I also have to mention their delicious Buffalo-style big bird sandwich: a toasted sub packed with crispy chicken cutlet, tangy bleu cheese dressing, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and just the right amount of spicy buffalo sauce. It’s a bold, flavorful sandwich that’s impossible to put down.
Their homemade Iced tea is super delicious and refreshing.
Bonus: ♿️ Accessibility is no issue here as it’s located on the ground floor, making it easy for everyone to enter and exit the store.
On top of all that, the customer service here is always great. The staff is super friendly and really knows how to make you feel welcome. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you’ll leave full and happy!

Always crowded and always overpriced ($13 for a chicken cutlet on a roll). Online orders take 30 minutes to prepare. Don’t bother going early for your online order to avoid it being late, they’re rude to you if you arrive before your predicted order time and then will still give you your order past pickup time.

Absolutely love Milburn Deli but the Morristowm annex wait times during the week are out of control. 45 minutes waiting after ordering online.
Placed an online order, arrived when it was communicated to be ready. Order was not ready.
A walk in customer was able to place his order while I waited, and he received his order before I received mine.
When I questioned this, was told that walk in customers are prioritized above on-line customers. Horrible practice, to put walk in customers ahead of those that placed an order on-line, and are waiting patiently.
While the food was decent, it was not worth the extreme delay.
By my watch, the delay was over 20 minutes, and still not given a good explanation as to why a walk-in customer gets priority over someone that is already at your store and ordered online. When one gets 60 minutes for lunch, waiting for 20 minutes doesn’t make lunch enjoyable. There are ways to correct being short staffed, or just communicate an accurate time when the order will be ready.

Best sandwiches/ iced tea/ salads anywhere! Been going there for over 50 years.. never disappoints and quality has always been fantastic. I live in Florida now but 3-4 times a year I go to Jersey to visit family. Always my first stop!😁❤️

Full disclosure: I updated this review due to my error on the overall ranking. It was meant to be 4 stars. Apologies to the owner.
The only reason that this isn’t perfect score is portion size. Delicious Rueben sandwich but those aren’t deli style portions where I come from. Left me just a little disappointed.

The last 2 times my sandwiches have been smaller and missing ingredients. Very irritating since I pick it up and once I get back to my office, I don’t have time to bring it back.
Disappointing because I’ve been a fan of the original location for 45 yrs.

The perfect 10 is my fav sandwich from here so far. Just make sure you order directly from the store rather than DoorDash or each item will cost a little more $$
