I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant yesterday for a coworker’s retirement/birthday celebration, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was top-notch, with the owner and staff making sure every detail was perfect.

The vibe was incredible, enhanced by an awesome live band that kept the energy going throughout the evening. But the real star of the show? The brisket! Hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

If you’re looking for a place with great food, fantastic atmosphere, and impeccable service, this is it. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to come back!

Sat at the bar for a drink and some wings. Charlie, the bar tender, is very friendly. The owner is very friendly, had great conversation with with everyone. Great family restaurant! The food is excellent!

Expensive, and not good food. The best thing about this place was our waiter he was great! The Mac and cheese was not good, the street corn was cold and the ribs and brisket were flavorless…someone needs a trip to Texas for a refresher course on barbecue

Went to The Minuteman on Sunday just before closing. This is relevant because they sell out of menu specials and staples, like racks of ribs and brisket. I had the pork half rack of ribs, fries, cornbread, and hushpuppies. Ribs were awesome. We got the last 4 racks available, and we were unable to try several other specials due to them being sold out. We sat at the well stocked whiskey/bourbon bar, and the selection is excellent. Ribs were cooked just right with an excellent peppery flavor dry rub. The in-house hot barbecue sauce is a rib topper must! Cornbread was very good, moist, and enough for all 4 of us. In fact, all of the sides were enough to split 4 ways, good portions. Rating is really 4.5, but I'm reserving until I have the brisket, brisket chili, and okra specials. I don't think I'll be disappointed since they sell out so quickly. If you love barbecue, this is a must visit!

Could be the best brisket I've ever had at a restaurant. Rib tip appetizer and tacos were excellent as well. We'll be back soon.

Called to place an order because they’re online order was not working. Did not have items I asked for. Also, asked to order a half rack of ribs and was told that they would not sell them to me because they are saving them for people who may come to dine in the restaurant.. I said I’m more than willing to visit the restaurant and order the ribs to go because I have an infant and cannot dine in.. they said they would not be able to do that either because they were saving them for people who may come into the restaurant.. strangest concept I have ever experienced while attempting to order and pay for food. So I guess good luck ordering food ‘to go’…

First time coming here, wanted to eat outside with the dog but outside was closed fyi. Good thing I was dog sitting and house sitting around the corner on lake kemble so we took our very yummy food to go!
