Went online and ordered 2 servings of salmon and White Tuna sashimi. I was under the impression that it was 2 or 3 per serving, based of the fact it says “slices” online, cost $31.57 for these thin slabs of fish on top of a bal of rice. 🫠

The sushi 🍣 was decent. They need more help. Took awhile, more than 20 minutes, to get our food. And What's up with the toy Gozillas all over the restaurant. A little tacky.

Good sushi and salmon steak. Typical place nothing really popped out at me. Wasn’t bad at all, cute place, got seated right away on a Saturday night. Parking isn’t good.

We went here for my son‘s birthday dinner and was less than impressed. The service was very kurt. I felt like they were more focused on filling their takeout orders. When I told the Service, it was his birthday, she smiled and walked away unimpressed or uninterested. The sushi was good, but certainly not great. Ingredients or bland and the sushi fell apart pretty easily. It was also too big to be bite-size. I hate to knock the atmosphere, but the lighting was extremely bright and a little polarizing. There was also little fish and lots of vegetables. Presentation was boiler plate at Best. And when the food was placed down, it was just dropped in the middle of the table in a hurry. The restaurant was less than half full, so we felt this was just a bad attitude in a place that was probably popular because of its name and location. In the end, she brought him the standard ice cream. Everyone gets at the end of dinner with a candle and the staff didn’t even have the time to sing happy birthday. Will probably not go here again since there are such so many better sushi restaurants in the area.

The food is fresh and delicious! Was our favorite place to get Sushi. But this time, if it were our first time, I never would have gone back! Jessie the server was inattentive and rude literally scowled at us because we asked for forks. Never asked us if we wanted anything else just plopped the check down. Never had an experience like that here before. Won't go back and I would advise you not to go if she is serving.

The absolute best restaurant I have ever been too. I dont think anyone can understand how much I love monster sushi. Ive never been a fan of sushi or asian food in general but when my lips met the beef negimaki everything changes. That dish is heaven on earth and unlike anything i have ever tasted, the warm juicy flavored steak with those crunchy scallions in the middle all on top of rice makes my mouth water. I have had monster sushi like 3x a week once because of how much I love it. It is a go to restaurant for all of my friends and we all someway find a dish for each of us. You dont have to love sushi to go here because of the enourmous range of food. Anyways the service here is amazing, there is one lady who my friends and I LOVE she is so kind, sweet, hospitable, and always serves us. We tried the fried ice cream because of her and OMG its the best thing ive ever tasted. The environment is so cute too with fish tanks and a little bar seating area where you can see the chefs making food. Best place in Morristown you have to go here.

We’ve always loved monster sushi but their pricing is super misleading. Everything on the website is 20% less than what you’ll actually be charged for take out. Really frustrating—enough to make me go to another sushi restaurant

I ordered carry out and really wanted a deep fried roll. It was squishy and not fried. Normally wouldn’t care and ate it anyways because I was hungry. I looked at the website and they lie about their menu prices. For example: miso soup is stated $4. They’ll actually charge 5.50. If they’re going to upcharge you for every item might as well go to asahi down the road. Monster is the budget option in town so I was prepared for sub quality sushi but since they lied about the prices I will not be returning.

Love the sushi and ambiance of this place. Everyone is very nice, and good customer service. We highly recommend. The serving is large also.

Just ok. Pricing on website was not reflective to the price once I ordered, prices have increased significantly. Tere is also a 3% credit card fee, which was not mentioned when ordering. Rolls were good but kept falling apart and Chicken Kastu was cold as ice. Will not be going back for a while.
