Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille

Our experience was at GK's Red Dog, which is part of RodsThree different steaks ordered medium rare came out more than well done and dry. No one came by to check on us, so we were stuck with them. We had reservations for Rod's layer in the week but canceled them based on what they sent out for food. Clearly no pride in what they put out. We made reservations at Ruth's Chris.

Always excellent food and service. One thing that was disappointing was the noise due to the bar area - it was very loud - seemed that several wedding/events were going on and for whatever reason all the guests were in the bar area. Crowded and loud.

Went to celebrate my husbands birthday and took advantage of their early bird pre fixe menu. Several choices in each of the three courses for $45. Food was delicious and service was great. They even brought out a piece of their fudge cake with a candle and sang to him.

Incredible service! The menu can use some sprucing up. Very typical, uneventful selections. Great ambience and nice live piano player.

Great food and excellent service. Live piano music on Saturday night made a perfect background. We had dinner with friends that we hadn't seen for quite a while. We weren't rushed, and the staff was attentive for a 3-hour dinner and conversation. The evening couldn't have been better.

Wow. Great place! The ambiance and decor is old school, with warm colors and rich details. Very comfortable. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The service was gracious, friendly and attentive. Both our waiter and the servers took good care of us. The manager visited our table twice checking on us and generously offered us a round of drinks that was very much appreciated. It's a bit of a trip for us but we'll be back. Highly recommended for a nice meal and overall experience.

My party and I book this place from seeing it online we're overwhelmed with how great it was when we got there not only was the service really really fantastic. The food was perfect and the atmosphere is outrageous. I would recommend people go there again and again I know I'm going to.

Good but not great. Shrimp/crab appetizer was almost room temp and not on a cold plate. Shrimp was a good size, crab is not jumbo lump. Onion soup excellent. Beef carpaccio would be better with the Parmesan crisp served on top or on the side instead of underneath where it got soggy. Prime rib was excellent. The so called focaccia bread was awful, like Wonder bread. Zabaglione needs more Marsala and should be served warm. Service was very good and a beautiful room behind the bar area.

Soup of day often bad. Bean Soup was veggie soup with 2 beans. Clam chowder same. Ergo, same. Taste like veggie soup. Ne Chowder has no clam taste & watery. Not thick. Broccoli, pumpkin, onion, cauliflower good.

Atmosphere was great and our server was great. Our appetizers was not good and the colossal crab was a joke. Our dinners were pretty good. Did not do dessert. Overall not sure if I would go back.

They have to renovate and change the menu a bit. The steaks were not to temperature and the mashed potatoes had lumps. not a fan.

Delicious dinner and excellent service. The four of us very much enjoyed the evening. Tuna tartare was raved about. Scallops very enjoyable. Veal special also very good. Filet mignons were nice. Cesar salad basic. Bread not very inspired. Prices are quite high. Only minor quibbles. With four people including drinks, dessert and tip the tab was well over five hundred dollars. For that price it would be nice not to be charged four dollars extra for horseradish cream or au poivre for the filet mignons. That sort of nickel and dime-ing feels unnecessary.

We had an amazing dinner with our guest. The chillean sea bass was delicious. The filet was one of the best ever

We celebrated my sons a college graduation and it was a wonderful end to our day! Our servers were fantastic !

Ambiance is very nice for a special dinner! Service was great! I was a little disappointed with my meal. The chicken was a little dry. The meal would be better with a little gravy! I would have loved to dine in the "train car," I did not realize that I had to request it when I made my reservation.
