Came here for brunch and sat outside. Got the chicken and waffles. The dish comes out with the syrup on it which i wish it didnt. Id prefer to control my own pour. It was still good!

I so wanted to rave about this place....but alas I can't
We went last night before our show at MPAC right next door, walked into a beautiful restaurant and from the menu online I was excited!
My excitement started to wither due to first the attitude of the hostess - not real friendly, and we will come back to her with the next issue.
Restaurant was only half full and 2 of us were seated at a 4 top bench & chair set up. RIDICULOUSLY CLOSE TOGETHER.
I literally could not get thru the tables without hitting the other table - at the time no one was there. I made a couple comments and the hostess just stood there, didn't offer to seat us elsewhere or adjust the table then walked away. But if she adjusted the table the people to my right would not have been able to get out, so I thought for sure so many empty tables, they won't sit someone next to me - BUT they did! 2 people to our left!
The womans buttocks were literally ON OUR TABLE as she tried to get thru! She complained as well, and so many other tables open - why are you squeezing us together???
Luckily we hadn't gotten our food yet, or she would have knocked the plates over.
Once seated, she didn't move over at her 4 top, so she was within inches of me.
I did not go out to dinner to have strangers basically sitting on my lap and then they left before us and yup, her derriere once again was ON OUR TABLE - this is disgusting

Easy way to solve this - just pull 1 of the 2 top tables out from that whole row - if losing 2 seats is going to break your bank, you're in the wrong business, but imagine how much happier your guests would be.

OK so, I'm in and since there were now people on either side of me I had no way of getting out without sideswiping their food with my backside off of their tables, so I hunkered down and hoped for the best.

We were seated before 2 other tables, yet the waitress hit them 1st..and took their whole order before even coming to see if we even wanted anything to drink. The terrible customer service continues
A waiter must have noticed my unhappiness because he stepped in - very friendly and took our order.

The food come out fast, hot and honestly some of the best dishes I've had.
Black Kale Cesar salad - fantastic, would eat this every day if I could
Burrata - delicious! the combination on that plate was heavenly, I almost didn't let my husband taste any, but he was paying so I gave in
Pumpkin Brioche - what??? Whoever created this dish needs a raise! Impeccable in flavor combination, so well crafted
Kimchi fried rice- so sad because it was SO salty. Inedible really, but I'm so obsessed with kimchi friend rice I ate it all and risked retaining all salt of water today. This was a big miss, would not recommend - also I like to see kimchi in my kimchi fried rice....this was more kimchi flavored, no chunks of actually kimchi in it - do not recommend

All in all, I would go back - sit elsewhere in the restaurant, and give the customer service another try, but if it was still as bad as it was last night, no matter how good the food is, I wouldn't go back because I'm tired of poor customer service.
If the front of the house matched the back of the house, this place would be a regular go to for me

Amazing meal ~ every time! Seasonal menu built to *wow* your pallet and a kitchen staff that is magical. All fresh and sourced locally. The grilled pineapple burrata app is heavenly!The PEI muscles are the freshest I’ve had. Salmon Club is huge portion! The polenta fries are sooo unique. BYOB (&) they’ve started to offer local wines. Tried the Coffee Cab Franc ~ perfect complement to the meal. Toasted Coconut Latte & Strawberry Tres Leches to end the meal (again deliciously unique). Sooooo, sooooo good!

Very pricey. Date night. $57 for each order of Skirt Steak, portion was normal. Charcuterie for 2 was $47. The food was tasty and good. Service was good. Inside the restaurant is very small and tight. We opted to sit outside but they would not allow us to sit at a table for 4 people so we had a very small table for 2. My husband is 6’5” so it was very tight and the sun was on us despite their outdoor structure. There Many 4 person tables that were open and remained unoccupied the entire time we were there, one and half hours. I get it, they could have had a mob of people come at any given time but when you have reservations and have a husband who is very tall, it would have been great if we were comfortable during our dinner. Other wise everything else was good but again very pricey. Steaks at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse and roots are not even this pricey for skirt steaks.

Let's start this off with a positive, this place USE TO BE good. I went there for lunch and they seated me, I waited 20 minutes.... We were the only table and there were 10 staff in sight TOTALLY IGNORING US. We left and WILL NEVER BE BACK. Every time we go we DROP BILLS. We will be taking our patronage elsewhere. Now it's a pale shadow of its former glory, every dish has gone up $5+, All the chefs with talent LEFT. No more chopped champion. Just some random person. And the staff is just plain rude.

AVOID IF YOU HAVE ANY TASTE.

Went here a few weeks ago with my two friends and had an extremely rude server. When our food arrived, the truffle fries were cold and didint even taste like truffle. When she finally came to check on us, after we had received our food about 10 minutes prior, ( I believe the rule is to check on your table after 2 minutes of getting their food). I told her that the truffles fries were not hot enough and tasted like regular fries. She snapped back at me saying they have the house truffle oil on them and then she grabbed the fries off the table and walked away before I could even say anything else. I was going to tell her it was okay and we were not hungry for another batch. This made me not want to come back to this restaurant. She was not attentive and very disrespectful.

Me and my Girlfriend had two sips of wine that made us sick.. the GM Alex, argued with me saying that everyone loves it, but me so I must be the problem.. when in fact the bottles being served are cheaper than wine in a bag, the GM maintains that it’s premium.. I was a guest since they opened and was always happy to recommend.. sadly if they want to argue with me over simple yet important feedback I have no choice but to write this review and let everyone I know to stay away!

Nice place, food is also tasty. Staff is very professional and kind. So with that said experience was memorable but what left the sour taste in our mouths was the fact we got punished for using credit card as payment. Meaning got charged service fee! I am sorry but how is that guests/ clients responsibility? The owner of the place can pay his own credit card fees and charges. What times are we living in? It’s 2025 not COVID time where restaurant owners got this scam going then. So I will suggest for all there are so many other restaurants in Morristown that have great food and ambiance you can skip this place and won’t get punished for using credit and not cash. The owner runs a good scam for sure. Won’t be back!
