Love my fave local beef burger with fried egg, lettuce & tomato, dressing (best eaten with knife and fork). Last two times, however, the fries that come with it have been a big disappointment. Once they were way overcooked. Next time they were not crisp, soggy even :( Don't know what has changed, but the fries used to be much better. If I'm longing for fries now, I'd rather go to Smashburger for their "Smash fries" or to McDonalds.

This is a decent spot. We dined here with another couple on a busy Saturday night. It's a small space but well designed with mostly attentive service. For me, the standouts were the appetizers. We shared the chicken lollipops and pork belly. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful! We tried the arctic char and short ribs as entrees. Both were good but I wouldn't say exceptional or standout. I did thoroughly enjoy the grits that came with the short ribs. We also all split the earl grey tea tiramisu. It sounded interesting and innovative but missed the spot for us! It really did not feel like a tiramisu. I think I would have been more into it if it was called something else! It was tasty but unexpected given the name.

First time visit. The ambiance is inviting. The service was OK. I like to say people have bad days but the servers just weren't attentive to the tables and even when we first walked in. Having to constantly look up just to wait to make eye contact was a bit annoying; though servers were kind. We started with the asparagus bisque which was reallyyyy my favorite part of the whole meal. It was smooth, creamy with a hit of zest. Loved it. For meals we both had sandwiches. The Turkey melt was alright. I wouldn't have it again. It was dry, not warm and crispy and the flavors of jam, Brie and Turkey didn't mesh well as it should've. Brie was clumpy and so was the jam. My friend had a blt which was okay too. I'd still definitely love to come back and try their breakfast menu and other options.

I love the farm-to-table concept and this is one of our favorites in northern NJ. Seasonal items on the specials menu are must-trys. On our most recent visit, the malfadine was really spectacular!

The prices don't reflect the ambiance and the food imho. I ordered the strawberry salad which didn't really taste like much and the menu said that it had beets in it and it literally had the smallest beet cut into like 4 pieces. For the main I got the artic char and it was pretty bland. Also ordered the polenta fries and that was just ok as well. Sat by myself right next to the kitchen and I had to keep bringing my elbows in cause there was literally no space. Service was good but overall I wouldn't go back based on my experience. Not saying the foods ingredients aren't fresh and but just overall everything just mediocre.

First time here and wow the food is to die for! Definitely make reservations because the place gets busy. We sat on the patio and the weather was beautiful. I had the grilled salmon which was perfectly cooked and paired with a really unique Korean bbq glaze. The kimchi fried rice and fresh cucumber salad were really pleasant as well. My friend got the kale caesar salad with salmon and it was a classic dish but prepared beautifully. Everything on their menu seemed very bright and fresh and they use locally sourced ingredients. Can't wait to come back!

This restaurant is BYOB. They have prepared wine glasses on the table when we got there but all the glasses were not clean. When I asked one of the waiter to take a picture, he said yes but he just gone. Food was good and their menu was interested but overpriced. We were party of 6 but they added party of 7+ 20% gratuity for us.

just disappointed of my man's and my recent experience here. It was so good the first time we went but my man was given raw burger first time then the waitress picked our plates since my man was done. I was not done with my fries and she did it so fast that I hadn't get the chance to tell her I wasn't done. This happened a while ago, but it's still a topic that my man and I talk about. Especially our bill was quite expensive for not so good experience.

Best food in Morristown with a seasonal menu. I prefer sitting outside on the patio than the restaurant. Service and food are top notch.

We didn't even get the chance to eat here, we went for lunch on Sunday and even though the restaurant was half empty with plenty of available tables they told us it would be a 2-hour wait to get a table without a reservation. Rediculous.

South and Pine is good but having been there a few times over the years, I think it needs a refresh. Doesn't appear as though the menu has changed much and the decor needs some sprucing up. Brunch today was good but not nothing exceptional. Squash app was good but a bit too much deep fry. Lamb meatballs were tasty but cold. Salmon club and grilled chicken sandwiches were fine. Very lively vibe. Hostess was salty but our sever, Nick, was excellent.

The service is terrible. It's so slow even when the place is not packed. It was this way in 2021 and it is still this way in 2024. The food is good but the menu is quite limited. I think this place should be skipped

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Food was outstanding! We ordered a selection of appetizers which were amazing...something you could not make at home! Entrees were just as good. Food was unusual but the taste was outstanding. Service was great...we had Sara who was fantastic and went out of her way to get me some special sauce from owner-chef Leia. Definitely a return trip is coming. Thanks for everything!!
