Wonderfully authentic Korean food in South Jersey. Generous portions, delicious banchan, and great service. I'd come here regularly if I still lived in the area.

Food was ok. They were out of almost all the drink options on their menu. I was not sure who our server was several people came over to the table to serve us it felt a bit like we were being rushed. I wouldn't return.

Such a disappointment from the moment we came in. The front of the house was extremely rude and ignorant. He did not acknowledge us and then questioned my reservation. As more guests came, the staff kept circling around to take our high chair for another customers family. The woman cooking our food was mediocre, not thoroughly cooking the meats. We asked multiple times for panchan and kept getting delayed. Another staff came to cook our food instead and really engaged with us. When it was time to pay for the bill, they charged my 5 month baby (whose not even eating solids) and toddler to equal the price as one adult just to justify an automatic 20% gratuity. Highly don't recommend this restaurant if you have kids. Mom and pop Korean restaurants actually care about service and food quality.

I went last night with a group of friends and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very fresh and delicious and service was quick. I appreciated the fact that they cook the meats for you so there’s no concern about undercooking. Everything was very tasty! I will definitely be back!

I always order the meat combo when I come here—the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. The beef tartare is exceptionally fresh and truly top-notch. Highly recommend!

Top notch restaurant with an upscale approach to their Dolsot predecessor. Everyone loved their food and the host was spot on with the short rib recommendation! We will be back and I’m looking forward to our ‘therapy’ session.

Dolsan Korean BBQ & Sushi is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was spotless — everything felt clean, organized, and welcoming.
Our server Katie was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to walk us through all the options, gave great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her hospitality really made the experience feel special.
The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic! You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into every dish. Whether you’re craving Korean BBQ or sushi, everything is perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
The entire staff was so kind and attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. It’s rare to find a place that nails both service and food quality, but Dolsan absolutely does.
I’ll definitely be coming back — this place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere.

We came here couple times but mainly wanted to review the BBQ experience we had. The first time we went, we got the combo B which is about $130 for two. Our server who grilled our meat was awesome and he cooked the meat to perfection making the price point worth it even though it’s not an ayce kbbq. We were impressed with our first experience so we came back the second time which unfortunately was extremely disappointing. Our servers who grilled our meat (one older male and one younger female) must have burned the meats as they tasted bitter and we could not enjoy the quality of the meats. The male server while grilling and cutting our ribeye, dropped one of the pieces on the chair right next to where I was sitting. He said “sorry” and picked that meat back up from the chair and placed it back on the grill for us to eat. For a $130 price point for kbbq, we do not want to come back again if our dinner is based on a lottery system of which server/cook we get… we felt like we could have cooked the meat ourselves and resulted in the same quality we got the second time around.

First visit last Saturday for dinner. Ordered to mushroom dolsot (spicy) and the Daegu Maeuntang (not spicy per rec of server) and both were excellent. The spice level was not at a normal heat level for Korean spicy dishes (not complaining) and perfectly complimented the dish. We would order both again w/o hesitation. The mushroom dolsot was our favorite. Great service, friendliness, and atmosphere. I live about an hour away and will probably eat there again this weekend.

Haven't been here before despite being around a while. It was always out of my price range before.
Glad I finally tried it, was really clean, very prompt and polite service. Didn't realize they would cook everything for you when you get the combo.
It seems fairly fancy and nice. A lot of bonchan variety, modern decor and lighting.
They had a short birthday song celebration for someone, and the lights phased in with the music.
Strawberry kiwi smoothie was good. Nice texture, but a bit sweet. Came out super quickly.
Milk teas are powder, so didn't try them.
Combo B had a nice amount of food for 2 people. Think it was the right amount. Though, the steamed egg was strangely bitter on the edges touching the bowl. Not something I'm used to, compared to the Chinese steamed style, which I guess doesn't get hot enough to induce the Maillard reaction.
Pleasantly surprised they cooked it for us. Wouldn't have known to cut up the vegetables and pile them onto the meat to slightly steam the rolled meat first. Or that the thin grate is different for the different types of meat. The subtle technique in flipping the kalbi by dragging it along the grate before alternating direction to reduce splashing was very smart.
Two single neutral gender restrooms.
Really enjoyed the experience.
