Just want to give a shout-out to El Azteca, aka Cocina Azteca! It’s a hidden gem of a restaurant. Casual spot and the food is so good! I’ve ordered from DoorDash before but this was our first time visiting in person. The staff was friendly, the art around the place is beautiful, and most importantly the food taste great. I love it that they have REAL queso blanco (not the stuff that taste like cheese wiz). 10/10 recommend.
The food was amazing and authentic. Delicious salsas and guacamole. It's impossible to find a good Mexican restaurant around here so this was gold. One star down for service ONLY because we had communication problems. I don't speak a ton of Spanish and he doesn't speak a ton of English. But we managed well enough anyway. He was very kind and eager to please. The building, though rundown, was clearly maintained to their best abilities. The pricing was fair and good....
