Mama's Pizza Grille & Bistro

We have had the most delicious gourmet pizzas from this place (Buffalo and The Works) Also, their chicken wings with the mild wing sauce is the right amount of tangy and spicy. My husband says, " it's the best wing sauce he's ever had!" Highly recommend!

I ordered the pasta del mare - shrimp still had legs because they were too lazy to remove the shells. They cooked it with the shell on and didn’t bother to remove the legs or the outer shell. This was completely disgusting. I called the restaurant and the manager didn’t care and just dismissed my concern. I spent $60 on 2 shrimp takeout dinners which we didn’t eat. Very disappointing.

We ordered pizza about a week ago and it was inedible. Nothing like we’ve had in the past so I’m not sure if there is new ownership/management. I waited there for it to come out of the oven, so I know it was freshly cooked but the crust tasted stale. Hard as a rock. Everyone in the family took a slice and had the same thought - is this stale? The rest went in the trash. Are they pre-making the crust a few days in advance?It’s unfortunate since we really liked it the times we’ve had it in the past. And it’s not exactly close to where we live, so we had to go out of our way to get there. Probably the last time we do that though.

I am not sure if there is new ownership but this was my FAVORITE place to order from. Ordered a turkey hoagie this week, cheese fries, and a cheesesteak. The hoagie was not turkey - tasted like a thick salami type of meat. The person taking calls says there are different types of turkey and hung up the phone. The cheese whiz tasted sour. The cheesesteak meat tasted bad. Tried calling them back the same night but they were closed. Called the next day but they hung up on us. So sad to leave this review because we really liked them. Hoping the owner is on vacation because I recommend this place to everyone on social media and off.

Quiet but food is very authentic, taste of homemade sauces and definitely put care into the recipes! Would recommend pastas but the pizza is great!

Past by this place numerous times and read the reviews. Finally had the opportunity to stop in. This appears to be more of a takeout type place, but they do have a small dining room. They were quick to get us seated and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly staff. Typical pizza/Italian menu. The soup was tasty as well as the fresh garlic knots. Meatballs were delicious as was the red sauce. I had the baked ziti Bolognese and it was awesome. I will be back to try the pizza and other offerings.
