I was pleasantly surprised the first time.
The food is very aromatic, and you can taste the freshness. The organic juices take everything up a notch.

This was the WORST experience I have ever had! I was very disappointed given the fact that I thought it was tasty and would recommend it to all my coworkers. After today's experience, it has changed my opinion. I go inside to order my food and the employee was SO RUDE!!!!! She had an airpod in her ear talking to someone on the phone and I could not tell if she was talking to me or on the phone. She was asking me what I wanted and she was too busy talking on the phone and put in greens in my bowl when I said no. She was not very attentive nor kind. I was asking her if they had certain ingredients in case they had it in the fridge and they just didn't take it out but all she said was "No." "No." in such a cold tone. Like ??????? Not even an apology but just being like "No." I cannot believe how rude they are in there and so UNPROFESSIONAL. I will never ever going back there again and it was the WORST $13 I've ever spent.

I went here and noticed that the man who took my order was very slow to wait on me and there was no customers in the store. He had an attitude as he took my order as if I offended him by my presence, than he took food out of my bowl as if he gave me too much... Very weird I do not like playing the race card and never do but im thinking its because Im of color. I actually started going to this location in North Carolina and was excited to see one around the Plymouth meeting area and in Jersey but I would never go back to this location EVER!

The water in the sofa machine wasn’t working but you can buy bottled water. Illegal, bad customer service and a money grab.

***Update 10/22/2024***
Mezeh has been advertising their new seasonal Fall Chicken Bowl. So I stopped in to try it and was met with immediate disappointment. They had no black lentils, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro vinaigrette - three main components of this new bowl, so I had to find substitutions, which really changes the taste. There was also no baklava, a key desert of a Mediterranean restaurant, so I picked a chocolate chip cookie that was a little overdone and dry. The guy building my bowl meal also was not the most friendly person.

I hope that this doesn’t mean that the chain is in trouble, but most likely it is due to poor management. Like the last time I was here, the trash was piled up and starting to overflow. I would have thought since I was the only patron in this place, the staff could take care of the trash. I adjusted my ratings down. I’ll return next month to see if they improved.
***End Update***

If you are a fan of Mediterranean food (rice, couscous, shawarma, etc.) then you will like Mezeh. Mezeh serves good food, fast. You are in charge of what goes into your bowl, salad, or wrap. Mezeh is similar to another Mediterranean quick serve restaurant chain, Cava. The food is fresh and very delicious. There’s various bases, toppings, and sauces to pick from if you want to build your own creation.

Today I selected the Mezeh Classic rice bowl. By default the sauce is a little spicy, but there are many other choices to pick from.

The portions are plentiful, and there are two deserts - large chocolate chip cookie or 2 pieces of baklava. Give Mezeh a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Parking: Plenty of free parking because this store is in a shopping center.

Asked for hummus on side because it takes me more then 2 times to complete a meal and hummus can't be reheated. The Manager Sammy said he's not allowed because corporate doesn't allow it and ge was very nasty about it. Hmmm I do it at other locations

Very unprofessional and it's a shame because the food is good. Mezeh is losing a customer that buys 5 days a week.

Nice and clean restaurant but the staff is awful . One of the female staff does not even speak or understand English . They are penny pinchers very picky and cheap on the portion and when asked a question will respond rudely . Made us feel like they were doing us a favor . Definitely not recommended take your business and hard earned money somewhere else but not to this establishment

I usually do not write reviews. I gave these guys enough chances before I started writing today. I loved this place and I love Mediterranean food. This place started with good vibe but for past couple of months (since owner started to show up) the service and food quality went down crazy. I want people with smiles on their faces when the serve the food to others. They give you nasty looks. I use to eat 2-3 times a week and I have had couple of bad experiences over past couple times. They are often out of stock on couple items and no even once apologizing for this. Today went to lunch around 12:30 and they were out of Spinach, Arugula, Onions, Garlic dressing, no lemon/vinger dressing either. One time I opened the bowl lid and found big hair on the top. I feel they even add water to the dressings and they are very liquid and no taste. I think they are turning greedy without caring about food quality and service.

This location has a very chill, relaxing vibe. There is plenty of seating and very spacious! The Falafels are delicious along with the many different verities of mediterranean food delights. They also have pizza, which is only available through their app.

Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options

Parking: This restaurant is located in a big shopping plaza.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is polite.

Was excited to try this new restaurant. Ordering the food, nice people taking our order but just at the sudden one crew from the back mannering rudely with no reason I was just pointing at the food far away to tell the employee what I’m choosing .he Killing the business, I left the place leaving the food.

I’ve come here multiple times (honestly probably 15 times). The food is fantastic. The service is terrible. The staff seems utterly miserable and truly just annoyed with me the whole time I’m there. I never write negative reviews but this is consistently the worst service I’ve ever received when dining out. I’m always pleasant and nice to the staff but I’ve literally received overt eye rolls when asking for many of the various toppings (which you’re allowed to do to my knowledge).

I’m also unsure of when the restaurant actually opens. Online and on the door it says it opens at 10:30am. Most of the time when I’ve tried to go around 10:45, I'm turned away and told it doesn’t open until 11am . If it truly doesn’t open until 11am, why is that not reflected on the business hours posted?

All that being said, I still come back because I love the food so much, I just wish I could enjoy the experience more.
