We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Definitely recommend the filet, mine was cooked perfectly. Brandon was awesome too!
Had a great time here on a Thursday Happy Hour (4-6). Live music started around 5. 10$ mixed drinks, 6$ craft beer, and 8$ wine. The calamari and burrata were delicious. The wagyu sliders were also spot on. Huge bar, and friendly bartenders, we'll be back

Came here for our One Year wedding anniversary and the service was immaculate, the food was amazing and our waitress overheard me not knowing which whiskey to order and had someone sent over with the knowledge to make a recommendation and it just made it a 10/10 experience. We will be back!

First visit to Monterey Grill. Dined at the bar for their Happy Hour. Had 1 dozen Blue Point oysters, crab cake sliders, and the shrimp dish. All 3 dishes were outstanding. The drinks were generous and well crafted. Best of all was the friendly and attentive staff. As we left we found out most nights they have live music starting at 7 pm. We will be back to enjoy that and try their fine dining. Highly recommend.
Had a disappointing experience tonight at the Monterey Grill. My wife had the Mediterranean appetizer and both the hummus and baba ghanouj had no taste and were watery. I had the Caesar salad, which also had no taste and almost no dressing. The parmesan crisp was stale. my wife had the Monterey salad with crab meat as her main course, but there was no crab meat on the salad, however, we were initially charged for it. I had the beef short ribs, which were soft but very dry and almost inedible. Once we ask to see a manager, our waitress became less than agreeable and almost surly. The manager removed the salad from the Bill, but never came back to our table. Based upon this experience, we will not revisit this restaurant . It was nice to have background music however it was much too loud and impacted ability to have a conversation.

Great time and great food. We were seated in lounge area. A party of 9. 6:45 seating on Saturday. At first we were concerned music would be loud when they started. Music started around 745. But sound level was great! Don't go louder, at least not to early. Service was awesome with a big party! Server was the best. Hostess very helpful and pleasant. She did bring drinks from bar. Napkins folded when up from table. Everyone's food was great!
I was blown away by this place. As a new restaurant, I wasn’t 100% sure what we would get. One of the best dining experiences I may have ever had. I can’t tell what was more impeccable, the service or food. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the Shrimp Scampi special my Fiancee had was amazing, and my Mother said it was the best salmon she’s ever had, and she’s a 79 year old Italian cook! The charcuterie board was HUGE and fed all 4 of us. I never mentioned it was my birthday making the reservation, but I commented on a Facebook post earlier in the week mentioning couldn’t wait to celebrate it for our first time visit, and whoever runs that page found my reservation somehow, and made the note. Our server Mikal was absolutely amazing. Even the valet attendant (who we didn’t use to park) was so friendly and opened the doors for us. Kudos management, we will be regulars!

I can not say enough great things about our experience at this restaurant. We had a very nice personable attentive server named Steve. He took the time to go over the whole menu and specials and made some great recommendations. The manager Alex stopped over and introduced himself and if we needed anything, please do not hesitate to ask. The bread basket comes with a variety of sorts of bread. We ordered several appetizers. Very enjoyable. I highly recommend the mozzarella meatball. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp cocktail and the deviled eggs were very creamy and delicious. I had a Caesar salad & added the chicken option. Their are several add ones to choose from. The Caesar dressing is made in house. It was absolutely delicious.I ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly. My husband had a shrimp pasta dish which was fresh and a large portion. We sadly did not have room for dessert. The restaurant decor is beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Thank you for making our 29 year wedding anniversary dinner so special. Looking forward to coming back!
