Honestly from the outside I was a little suspicious but 100/10 I’ve been here three days in a row since. It’s delicious and light and everything is so Fresh. The falafels are to die for

What a delicious delightful surprise! This little gem is inside the Lukeoil gas station quick marketplace. Past the grab and go items in the back is where you'll find the cheerful staff who were very patient with me as I ask questions about the menu. I settled on the chicken orzo soup which was like my grandma's. Velvety smooth and loaded with chicken, carrots and celery and onions. The pita sandwich I chose was the lamb. It was delicious by itself, but when my toppings ( lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, feta, onions,) were added along with tahini sauce it delivered to a new level. Hot sauce on the side so I could control that next level experience.... sandwich was big and the pita was beyond good. Definitely give this gas station spot a try - it's not typical gas station dining.

Doesn't look like much as it's in a gas station. However food is made fresh daily. It taste wonderful and the potion size is plentiful.

Did this look suspicious when I searched for “food” while traveling for work? It did. A pita store inside a LUKEOIL gas station (what is that, I’m from Delaware??). But alas, the competing options were WaWa and Applebees - I’m much more of a risk taker than that, so Pita Pocket here I come.

Exterior: well-maintained but no thrills. Suspicion remains…

Interior: the floors were as clean as the St. Patrick’s church I recently visited. The product placement was perfect across each aisle.

But in the back stood the holy grail - the Pita Pocket. A menu curated for the hungry traveler with a well-ordained palette.

Behind the glass lies the freshest diced vegetables, stews and soup this side of the Mississippi. I ordered the chicken kabob pita sandwich and much to my surprise a perfectly seasoned chicken skewer was tossed over a fiery open flame.

Folks, get down here and get a pita. Holy smokes. The sandwich is just as saucy as the lady cooking it up.

Not to mention the staff and locals seemingly hanging out for a good time greeted me like I was a visiting Michelin judge.

5/5 across the board.

This place is amazing 🤩 it is very unassuming looking like any other gas station convenience store, but you would be very very wrong!

Ordered via Doordash. Chicken shawarma platter was good but slightly different flavor profile from the Halal cart food I used to order in Philly (which I miss and love). Be sure to order extra white sauce on the side.

Great Mediterranean food across the board. The meat Shawarma is definitely the highlight. I wouldn't eat in as it's a gas station with a couple of tables.

Clean and welcoming. Food is out of this world. I'll bring my wife again later and pretend I've never been here. The lamb shawarma platter has me stuffed.
