A few years back i stopped coming here after a bad experience. Came back a few months ago and so glad i did..they are wonderful now.. helpful, pleasant, willing to answer questions and my orders have all been perfectly made and delicious!!
The staff here are super friendly, helpful, and patient. Average wait time in the summer is like 10-15 mins if really busy, but otherwise its not a long wait. Prices are appropriate for what you get. Favorite ice cream place around!
I had the Reese’s Peanut Butter Mudslide, and it was good
The two girls at the counter in the evening of the Fourth of July were very nice and friendly
Four stars instead of 5 only because it was more expensive than I anticipated it would be – for about the same price, it feels like Coldstone provides a little more ice cream
So my daughter and I come here after a nice salad next door all the time, since we live in the area, today is June 23,2025 we were rang up by a sweet Indian girl who is often there with her amazing customer service skills. However today we were being handled again by the same indian girl who is so kind, when a horrible attitude black young lady with a visor and raggedy braids was completely ignorant for no reason what so ever we were already being served so why would the African American girl be so rude and then she didn't even fill up our icy we had to tell her to fill it completely since she inserted herself over the sweet indian girl and totally took over the transaction with a horrible attitude. We have no idea why the African American girl was so rude and even wouldn't give us a spoon we had to ask the indian girl, we were totally confused on why she would rudely take over the order and be so rude for absolutely no reason, no spoon, and kept saying anything else, anything else..Because of her I will never give this business my money, and I will tell everyone not to come here her manager needs to be aware of her horrible attitude and why we will not be back and neither will our friends and neighbors in the area..very sad and I AM AFRICAN AMERICAN MYSELF SO NO RACISM HERE JUST A DETAILED VERSION OF MY DAUGHTER AND I'S EXPERIENCE
Love Rita’s but I’m not a fan of this location. Last week I came in for a gelati. The young lady was having some trouble with the custard machine. I guess it was low on custard because it would come out normal then splatter into and around the cup. She then filled the cup with the flavored ice and tried the same machine for the top/final layer of custard. At first I didn’t think she was making my order because there was wasn’t much custard in the cup and I was getting a 5 layered gelati.
When the machine sprayed out all over the cup again she tried to shake off the custard that was on top. When that didn’t work she started to bang the cup against the drip tray (the base of the dispenser where excess ice cream drops down). When that didn’t work she turned the cup upside down and scrapped the top against the drip tray. (She could have simply grabbed a spoon.) As another employee watched. She then went to the next machine. That machine was set to mint so she turned it to the correct flavor and waited for the custard to come out “white” and got the last layer on the cup. She comes over to the till and there is custard dripping on side. A delapitated top layer of custard. I mean the cup and custard looked a mess. I pointed out to her that the top layer of custard was light green. Thinking she would just make a new one because why would I pay for something you ran across a dispenser and is clearly mixed in with another flavor. Only for her response to be “yeah there is a little bit of mint in it”.
At that point I was over it and left. Not sure what kind of training these employees go through but they need a refresher on proper food handling, customer service and cleanliness. That location always looks it needs a wipe down.
I drove to the location in Marlton and will go there from now on. It’s a solid 20 mins out the way but their location is always clean AND neat. They also have a great staff.
So if I were you I would skip over this spot and head over to Marlton for your Rita’s.

Paid $5-6 for a soupy cup of ice cream, definitely not “concrete.” Not even filled all the way, disappointing.

came in at 9:50 - which i understand can be annoying i also work in the food industry - and was greeted by a sweet girl while the guy cleaning said “oh so it’s a party up in here” and at first i thought he was joking, but proceeded with more snarky remarks about how the girl had to actually turn the ice cream machine on for me and should’ve just told me that they were no longer serving. There was no need for that comment as the girl had already taken my order. I thought you closed at 10? i’ve been here at 9:50 before with a line out the door. I would’ve left a tip as i usually do and felt bad for the girl serving me. really hoping he’s not there if i go back
