From the moment we reached out to make a reservation and ask about their gluten free options (I have Celiac Disease), Michael's communication and accommodation were outstanding. Every dish was more delicious than the next, and with proper notice, he ensured that each one could be safely prepared to be gluten free. The ambiance was charming, romantic, and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Once we walked in and mentioned our name for the reservation, Michael even remembered us and greeted us with such warmth. Our overall experience was simply wonderful, and we're already planning our return for future meals!

My holiday party was absolutely amazing!!!! Had some dietary restrictions and Michael did a phenomenal job. We all loved his presentation of the food. Would highly recommend Chef Sano for any party or to dine in. MDietary restrictions: Had a person that has celiac disease and another person that has cheese allergies. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. I have Celiac, so I need to adhere to a strict gluten free diet. Michael was extremely accommodating and even mentioned that he prepared the entire menu to be gluten free for all guests that evening since he was aware of my dietary needs ahead of time. Each dish surpassed the next in deliciousness. We're already planning our next visit. Absolutely fantastic meal, incredible service, intimate atmosphere. Can't recommend enough!

I have both dined and taken out from the restaurant multiple times over the past 2 and a half years, and have yet to find a meal that I did not enjoy. Michael will also work to personalize food options for anyone, and this is coming from a picky eater. On top of the professionalism, you can tell Michael cares about his clientele. I recently ordered take out meals for the week due to my busy work schedule, and Michael was generous enough to give me extra salmon without an additional cost. Needless to say I have not found a similar gesture of kindness from any of the other food establishments I have partaken in over the past few years . 10/10 recommend .

From the moment you enter Sano, the atmosphere oozes with elegance while also feeling like such a comfortable environment. Food tasted out of this world with a personal uniqueness that you'll never forget. Both options of the prix fixe menu were divine - Duck confit and citrus scallop (our personal favorites), lamb gnocchi, crab risotto, Faroe Island salmon, braised bison back ribs, Philly cheesecake, and generous portion of limoncello creme brulee (soooooo good). I also couldn't resist bringing additional food home. The mango salmon ceviche (thanks for the extra portion!) was mouthwatering. I'm sure the presentation would've been as beautiful as you described Michael. The meatballs were cooked perfectly as were everything else. As excellent as the food was, the service was top-notch and equalled in its exquisiteness. Michael and Ebony giving that personal touch filled with genuineness was the cherry on top to a perfect night. Thank you so much for making it a perfect birthday! ~ Christine

The dining room is extremely intimate and inviting. Good background music. Food is outstanding. Veal meatballs were out of this world. BYOB. Server was knowledgeable and very efficient. Cannot wait to go back! Bravo to Sano Chef!!

It was like eating at a friend's place that indulges in gourmet cooking. Michael and the staff were so gracious and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble especially when my dinner partner requested extra sauce for her entree....made fresh immediately and delivered promptly. All I can say is the night was a delightful surprise since it is a "best-kept secret" in the area. Kudos to you, Michael !

Flavorful dishes, ample portions, nice decor, a hidden gem. My husband and I both had different dishes. We ordered the prefix menu and we kept saying oh try this, try this and putting food on each other's plate the entire dinner. We enjoyed everything we ate. It reminded us of one of those old school south philadelphia small restaurants that were all over the place twenty five years ago , very romantic and very intimate. Staff was incredible and the chef came out multiple times to make sure everything came out okay.

We sat with a group of a total of 10 people who we did not know. By the end of the night we were all friends, making jokes and taking pictures. And a picture of the menu because I cannot spell a lot of the cuisine that we thoroughly enjoyed. I have been fortunate enough to be receiving Sano food services weekly at home for 3.5 years or more. Michael Scipione tailors my twice weekly nine meals with a combination of factors in mind. Weight loss, wild caught, free range, gluten free, organic and etc. It is high quality seafood and mix of land also or whatever you could want. Joe is punctual twice per week with the meals. We've also had Sano catering services for home and work functions. During the beginning of Covid, they even shipped UPS food with dry ice to our employee in Idaho. They go over and beyond. I had gone through many meal services prior and this is the absolute best one. Thanks Sano team for all you do!

Michael is literally the BEST for healthy meal preps. I have horrible food allergies (sesame, all nuts, shrimp, lobster, crab) and have had tons of people promise me I can eat their food but end up having a reaction. Michael is truly the only one who ever stood by his word. I was even able to eat hummus for the first time because he made it for me without sesame!! He made healthy eating so fun- I would come home and literally not be able to decide if I wanted to dive into the fresh salmon or the baked turkey meatballs. If you want healthy, yummy meal preps HE IS YOUR MAN. Thanks Michael!!!!!!

Chef Michael and the entire Sano team are the absolute best. Not only do they prepare the best food you could ask for, they leave your kitchen cleaner than when they started. It is like having family in your house, but cook better than anyone.Every dish that is prepared is better than the last. From the appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, homemade pastas to the entree and dessert. Absolutely phenomenal. We will never have anyone else cook for our private dinners in our home other than Michael and his team.
