I was comparing this place to places I've eaten at up north by the Clifton NJ area where I'm from. It's not so great ?. Service was good but the food was not good in my opinion.

I have eaten sushi in Puerto Rico, Colorado and many places that are ok to my taste. But for me the best place to eat Sushi is Wasabi Restaurant in Mount Laurel, NJ. I enjoy the sushi they prepare here. It is so fresh and I can enjoy every flavor of their rolls or sushi with or without any sauce. From the rice, avocados and fish. I love their yellowtail with scallions and their salmon avocado roll. I like their combo Japanese fried rice too. This is just my favorites but I know that everything they prepare in this Restaurant is top quality. If you decide to enjoy this place by take out or dining, be aware that they will require some time to prepare your meal because it is not a fast food and the food will be prepared fresh for you. Since I tasted their sushi rolls I can’t eat a pre made sushi or supermarket, or buffet sushi anymore. With this restaurant I learned to eat raw fish. I used to eat before rolls that were only with shrimp, eel, or smoked salmon. Now, I can eat all their sushi.

I have come here multiples times to do takeout in hopes that it would get better. However, my sushi falls apart every time. I always spend $40 or more. I’m not sure if they’re rushing each time or just being lazy. I do not plan to return here.

Gross food my chicken lo mein tasted like fish no lie ?? ?. No way to reply to your reply so I edited it . My 2 sons came in with my uncle Edwin. I’m not sure how you would know our name ? Restaurants usually do not ask for names . ? They brought me home chicken lo mien to go. It was maybe a fish oil!

A family run restaurant. I go there all the time for Sushi always fresh. place is very clean . the woman who runs the place is such a sweet heart and her kids are very respectful. I highly recommend it.

I have been dining at Wasabi since it first opened. I recently read a scathing review about someone who eaten there one time and sent the food back and demanded a refund. I am shocked that some would send food back at wasabi. I’ve been eating there for over 16 years and have never and I mean NEVER had a bad meal there. The food is always over the finest quality and cook to perfection. I personally always order sushi, but my husband orders other dishes and has never been disappointed. For one complaining person, there are hundreds of us who will continue to dine wasabi and enjoy the food they have to offer! I for one give it a 10 stars!
Kid-friendliness: We have taken our grandchildren there and they always enjoy it.
Vegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice was the best I tasted anywhere. I will go here to eat or order and take home before I go to eat oriental food anywhere. ♥️♥️♥️
