Our family of seven stopped at Paul’s Diner and had a wonderful experience. Parking was stress-free, even with our large Transit van and a small trailer attached—there was plenty of room.
From the outside, the diner has all the classic vibes you’d hope for, and inside it’s clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for a big family. The menu is huge, with something for everyone, and all of us found meals we truly enjoyed. Portions were generous, food came out hot and well-prepared, and everything tasted great.
The service was professional and efficient, and the bathrooms were spotless—always a relief when traveling with kids. Overall, Paul’s Diner delivers exactly what you’d want from a true New Jersey diner: plentiful food, a wide variety of choices, and a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

First time dinning at Paul's. I was impressed with the elder staff member that pointed out I was parked in a handicap parking space, thank you for looking out for handicap people. The food was well portion and arrived promptly and hot, and the staff welcoming and friendly.

Great stop on our ride home from New York! Right off the highway. We love a classic American diner, but there's something special about a diner that not only has a good cup of coffee, but also chicken and waffles, a meatloaf sandwich, and a delicious bacon egg and cheese on a roll. We HIGHLY recommend their Disco fries and just their fries in general. Some of the best I've had anywhere. Truly a great stop!

Came here on a Friday around 8, my husband and I were welcomed in by a friendly greeter. We sat, ordered, and received our meals rather quickly. The food was AMAZING! We frequent New Jersey Diners and had never visited Paul’s before. We received stellar service from both our server and the busser. Highly recommend to anyone in the mood for a good New Jersey Diner burger and fries served with a smile!

It was pretty good, we had a friendly and attentive waiter, and it was not a long wait for our food. I had the souvlaki, it was good but standard diner fair, my wife very much liked her over easy eggs and pancakes, solid place if you're passing by 🫡

Visiting from out of town & decided to try this place , the service was terrible !! Ordered a appetizer but our main dishes came out first & the waiter stated they make the appetizer as a meal like huh no take that off & we NEVER got refills , he got our order wrong but also stated he didn’t need to write anything down bc he can remember but clearly didn’t it was 5 of us .. the steak I order was not medium well it was WELL DONE & DRY NO SEASONING at all I asked for steak sauce to help save the steak .. then a waitress came by & asked if she could borrow my steak sauce for someone else . Like do yall not have any more to give out im using this one. The place just did not give welcoming vibes .. but the lady that rung us out was sweet.
The food is always good, always hot and always quick from grill to table.
The staff is very friendly and the service is always top notch.
They are not open very late, but this is in common with most restaurants and diners.

Planned to stop here on our way from EWR to Ithaca. Breakfast was incredible. We were visiting from San Jose, CA and wish we were able to stop there again. We will on our next trip. Want to try other meals.. 100% recommended

Food is always amazing !! Owner is great. Food comes out timely. Friendly servers. Mike is the best. Overall amazing place. My only complaint - the music they play at times is a little low. lol. So at times can be very quiet. But other than that ? Perfect place to go !
