We usually go to a place in Hackensack but there was and issue today that the manager/owner would not rectify. We opted to go more locally to Arirang instead. Best decision EVER!!! From our talented and witty chef Sando to our excellent server Elisa, we had the time of our lives. The show and food was plentiful and DELICIOUS! Our server was not only pleasant, but efficient also. She made sure that we were good on multiple occasions. My daughter who did not attend collects chopsticks so I grabbed a few stained ones from our table, she immediately replaced those with not only new ones but two different types of chopsticks without us asking. An all around 5 star experience! ??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a great family dinner on a weeknight at Arirang in Mountainside! As someone who has previously not enjoyed the taste of food cooked on the hibachi grill, I was plesantly suprised with the food at Arirang. Santo was an excellent chef. He was fun & attentive to everyone's preferences. Elisa was a wonderful server. She was especially attentive to a handicapped guest in our party & made sure she got in and out of the restaurant with ease.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in the back of the building. You have to ring a bell on an intercom & wait for someone to let you in. Once inside the space is a little tight to get into the restaurant. The intercom is kind of hard to hear. You may be better off sending someone else in your party to alert the hostess to have someone open the back door.

Arirang is a great place for a fun family meal. The food is always good, the staff is friendly, and helpful. It’s typically pretty busy which makes service a little slower, so getting in and out is not as quick as I’d like, but overall it’s always a consistent and good experience. We have come for many birthdays and will probably keep that tradition for years to come.
