I’m kicking myself that I’ve lived near this place for years and haven’t tried eating here sooner. Everything we got was delicious. I got a frittata which came over breakfast potatoes with toast on the side and we got the blueberry bread pudding french toast.

The best breakfast spot delivered via Uber Eats. I got the avocado toast with perfectly poached farm fresh eggs over crispy potato hash browns, paired with delicious applewood smoked bacon. Everything arrived fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared even through delivery!

Stood in line for 10 minutes to get some bakery goods, just to have the lady behind the counter ignore me to take someone else’s order, I guess I wasn’t the right type of customer that she wanted to help, then when I said something to the young man behind the same counter he acted as if he didn’t understand what I said, low and behold another young lady came to take my order and she was very rude when I was asking about certain pastry’s she acted as if I was being a bother so instead of making a scene I left and went elsewhere, I’m not sure what and where the disconnect was but to me it definitely seem like some kind of racial tension between the 3 individuals I encountered at the location on route 22 (Springfield) I would never even consider going back to that store ever again. I hope the owners or management take a look at some of there employees, because some people are not as calm as I am and it could’ve easily turned into a situation.

Not very busy but had to wait several minutes to be helped at the counter
Staff ALWAYS friendly, nice ambience. The fruit tart basically was a pastry crust with whipped cream and fruit. Even Shop Rite puts a filling in them. The crumb cake was dry, no moisture and pretty flavorless. My bagel place near me has better and so does Randazzo's. Not the first time these have been subpar. I try NEVER to complain or leave a bad review, especially if its just once (since we all have our off days/no one is perfect); however, this has repeated. I leave this with the intention of being constructive NOT destructive AT ALL! Thank you and it does feel like some minor things that can be easily improved though :-)

Eaten here a few times, and it's a hit or miss. They overcooked the chicken and over toasted the bread the last two times I went. It was Sunday lunchtime and the music was so loud that it gave me a headache. Always uncomfortable when I have to scream over the table to talk to someone.

Excellent menu but lacking in execution - both dishes arrived room temperature (eggs on avocado toast, and blueberry French toast). Never got a refill on coffee and had to stand up to get attention to get the check.
Perhaps the main attraction here is the baked goods and they are still ironing out the operational details on how to serve up warm stuff…
It’s a shame because the menu is very creative and food quality seems extremely high!

Bovella’s has been our family’s favorite for years now for the weekly freshly-baked rugelach fix. Their rugelach assortment is wonderful. We also love their flourless chocolate cake and Nutella crepes. It’s such a popular brunch place on weekends, with great menu options and casual friendly atmosphere.
