I have been going here for 6 years but over the last 6 mos they have put my reservation on the wrong day and/or time 4x including today. One time we were turned away with a party of 5. I told the manager Matt today and he laughed at me. I won’t be going back. I would like to add that the waiter James is

Came in for drinks and apps with a girlfriend at 6pm on a Saturday. We didn't have a resy but got a spot on the couches by the fireplace. Service was excellent, from the greeter to the waiter to the bus boys. Everyone was wonderful. The food was hit and miss. The oysters were poorly shucked and grimy. The garlic shrimp was oily and disjointed. However the tuna crisp and artichoke dip were excellent. The cocktails were not good. I had a dirty martini and my friend had one of their mocktails; neither was good. The vibe is generally cozy but every time I glanced at the fireplace, I was forced to watch baseball on the TV hanging directly above it, which was not what I was looking for. In general, it felt over priced and over hyped. We paid $100 per person, with tip.

It was a delightful visit to the Publick House. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were made well. I would return to try more menu items. I love the daily specials and prefixes.

Came here for dinner on Saturday, September 14. Our server Eric was OUTSTANDING! He was so attentive and thorough. I ordered the shrimp & grits and had the Peachy With It cocktail. Everything was delicious!! This photo doesn’t capture how HUGE the shrimp were. My husband ordered the burger with truffle fries and he loved it! Everyone at our table-8 of us in all-enjoyed their meal.

What a great pub, didn't realize that we were this close or would have come sooner.

While it is a pub that has a full menu, they are serving some nice dishes, and not 'pub grub'. So bring your family or bring your date. We've only been here once, but will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Very nice staff!

So many flies and gnats in this place while eating. Its almost unbearable to enjoy your meal. My sandwich also came out wrong which is an honest mistake but didnt have time to wait for it to be made all over again. Thumbs down.

This place is on the expensive side, even during their happy hour, but they were great! We split the chorizo dip which was amazing, and I had the arugula salad which was great- but I would have loved some more toppings added in there. Overall it was very nice and I’d definitely come back!

This is a bar posing as a restaurant. The food is bad. The chorizo and corn dip is all corn with chorizo really hard to find. The shrimp snd grits is boring snd flavorless. If you ask for Tobasco to spice it up, they bring you a little bowl of Tobasco which makes it impossible to dispense the sauce in a controlled way and gives you either not enough or way too much. Then you ask for dessert and wine to go with the dessert. They bring you a totally dry and astringent sherry that wouldn’t qualify as dessert wine in Spain or any where else in the world. The servers are nice but clueless about the food and wine they’re serving.

If you just want burgers and pub food, maybe this is a good place for you. If you want the type of food they advertise, you should look elsewhere. .
