Came in for drinks and apps with a girlfriend at 6pm on a Saturday. We didn't have a resy but got a spot on the couches by the fireplace. Service was excellent, from the greeter to the waiter to the bus boys. Everyone was wonderful. The food was hit and miss. The oysters were poorly shucked and grimy. The garlic shrimp was oily and disjointed. However the tuna crisp and artichoke dip were excellent. The cocktails were not good. I had a dirty martini and my friend had one...
It was a delightful visit to the Publick House. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were made well. I would return to try more menu items. I love the daily specials and prefixes.
Came here for dinner on Saturday, September 14. Our server Eric was OUTSTANDING! He was so attentive and thorough. I ordered the shrimp & grits and had the Peachy With It cocktail. Everything was delicious!! This photo doesn’t capture how HUGE the shrimp were. My husband ordered the burger with truffle fries and he loved it! Everyone at our table-8 of us in all-enjoyed their meal.
