I recently had the displeasure of dining here and on top of the subpar food I lost my appetite entirely when I witnessed a manager verbally abusing staff (some of whom I had just had very positive interactions with!) in full view and earshot of myself and other customers. I had the impression this was a welcoming community establishment but things have taken a sharp downward turn and I would actively discourage patronage unless there is a major overhaul in management.

Ordered delivery and that was fine, food was extremely salty, just average and small portions for the money, ordered 6 donuts and they were just average as well looked very appealing but not very tasty, won’t be going back

Been here many times food is awesome from brisket to burgers and pulled pork. One of the best in jersey. The dinning room is really hot though no ac or fans going. Floor is also dangerously slippery with wax or something slick not sure. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

0 stars for service, blonde girl working the counter has no customer service whatsoever, didnt bring us or ask if we want napkins, was very rude the entire time, rolling her eyes and making us feel unwelcoming. Disgusting i didnt even want to spend my money there, got it boxed up and left like 5 minutes into eating.

Food was okay, meat was fairly dry. Fairly overpriced...

The atmosphere was horrible. There were DOZENS upon DOZENS of flies... everywhere... it was really hot inside and sticky tables. Smacked my head on the low hanging lights too. The place definitely has a lot of work to do, hope it improves.

I got to tell you, the food was really really good. The service was amazing. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired but who would not say that about a lot of barbecue joints that are quite tasty.

I like the cornbread. I like the ribs. I like the brisket. I like the pulled pork. I like this place.

First I have to say that I typically never write reviews. Tonight I’m taking the time to do so. The food that I received was awful. The quality was so poor, I won’t even give it to my dogs. The pictures on the website are no comparison to what I received. The meat was extremely dry and hard. The burger was very small. Was hoping to find a good BBQ place but unfortunately paid for overpriced garbage. Not to mention the delay on the food preparation. I will not be eating here again nor recommending this place to anyone I know.

Tried a few times. For me the meals tend to be on the fatty, salty, and sugary side ... for people who like those heavier types of meals ... this is your place. Just not for me. Also our order was wrong 2 out of the 3 times. The staff was very friendly and nice about it though...

The food is excellent. We ordered the shrimp po boy and the smoked Cuban sandwich. We took the rest home due to the portions being large.

Tried their breakfast for the first time. The breakfast was ok. The donuts were not good. They were almost soaked with oil and the oil tasted like old fryer oil. The location has so much potential but its a little run down and overpriced. Would love to see this place make some changes and bring more people to town.

We made a reservation for 5:00 today, Father’s Day. Arrived about ten minutes early. Empty seating. Once I said we had a reservation they said sit anywhere. The place started to fill up. As we waited to be greeted we all (4 of us)selected our drink and meal so we would get served faster with the influx of seated tables. An hour later my husband was at the counter asking for our food. People that came in after us were eating. One part of my husband’s 3 piece order came out, as well as the other two orders for our table. No napkins, no refills on drink and most importantly no utensils. My meal came out 15 minutes later. A $20 hamburger on a potato roll. Food was mediocre at best. My husband’s nachos were so dried out from a heat lamp that they were inedible. Terrible. Just…. Terrible.

Fantastic food brisket cheese steak was excellent.
