Harrison House Diner Reviews
we went there today and was very disappointed in the food. I ordered a broiled stuffed flounder and when I received it it was a crab ball with a small sliver of flounder on top. for $20 one would expect it to be a filet of flounder not just a strip on top. our server was very courteous and offered another plate but I was afraid it would be the same. I then ordered a burger with no bun and it was plated like it came from a middle school cafeteria. We have been here many...read full review
Very bad service, only about 15 customers in on a Sunday night at 6pm. Waitress never came back for refills or the check or to check on us. My food was good but my wife got a chicken pot pie (which came apparently as a casserole and not a pie) with macaroni and cheese that looked like it was made in a blender.
Excellent server ! Two times I've been there , stale hamburger roll. 12 bucks for a cheeseburger? AND an extra $2.75 for French fries? instead of "potato chips?", seriously??? nah, I'll stick with the Pointe 40 Diner instead. coleslaw served in crappy plastic container? so small, I couldn't even see it, warm pickles? never again. Pointe 40 Diner blows this place away. Harrisson House, overpriced.

Harrison House Diner offers stunning views of the bay and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The diner serves delicious dishes like buttered noodles, real jumbo lump crab cakes, and Chicken Marsala, which is noted for its actual Marsala wine. Customers appreciate the huge portions and good food, though some have mentioned that the food could use a little more seasoning. The service can be quick, but there are times when guests feel forgotten after being seated. Despite being considered overpriced by some, the diner remains a great option for breakfast and casual dining. The attentive staff, along with a variety of dessert choices, adds to the experience. Seniors can enjoy a discount upon request, and there is plenty of parking available, making it convenient for all visitors. The banana French toast is highly recommended, and the diner is a great spot for those heading to the Shore. Recently, guests noted that the dining room fills up very fast, especially after 8 am, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The home fries and bacon are cooked perfectly, and the two eggs dish is a favorite. The chunky monkey pancakes topped with Nutella, bananas, and walnuts are highly praised for being sweet and generously topped. Overall, the experience is fast, friendly, and convenient, making it a popular local spot for families and visitors alike.
