It's a lovely place. I thought this place was getting sold last year but apparently it's not. Would love to make this my mainstay. Before I moved to this area, I lived in the Boonton area,and Johnnie's Tavern was my go to. This place is the only one that could hope to measure up to that level of atmosphere. If this place gets sold or disappears, this whole area is not going to have a locals bar. And that sucks. So it should probably not happen
Kudos to the chef! My three sunny-side up eggs were perfectly cooked with delicious home fries! The Tito's screwdrivers were on point. Music wasn't my style, but the sports on the TV's had my attention. Picture is my friend's meal.
Don't let the location turn you off of this place. This is a great little dive bar, friendly staff, AMAZING prices, music, and yes a dart board!! I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get away from the "chainy" bars and just enjoy a good time with the locals.
